MANILA, Philippines – Police Colonel Hector Grijaldo, who appeared before the House quad committee hearings a few years ago, is facing a graft case for allegedly using his subordinates in the Philippine National Police as construction workers.
The Office of the Ombudsman has charged Grijaldo and another police officer with allegedly directing police personnel to work on a private property in Cebu City owned by the police colonel.
In a statement, Grijaldo denied the allegations against him, saying that they were “categorically untrue.”
