PANews reported on February 20th that, according to The Block, Polymarket has acquired prediction market API startup Dome, though the specific transaction amount was not disclosed. Dome, a member of Y Combinator's Fall 2025 cycle, provides a unified prediction market API, allowing developers to create applications, bots, dashboards, or trading tools across multiple platforms such as Polymarket and Kalshi. Dome previously received $500,000 in funding from Y Combinator and completed a $4.7 million seed round. Its co-founders, Kunal Roy and Kurush Dubash, are both founding engineers at Alchemy.
Polymarket was recently valued at $9 billion after acquiring QCEX, a U.S.-regulated derivatives exchange. In addition, Polymarket has signed multiple distribution agreements with Major League Soccer (MLS), the National Hockey League (NHL), and media companies such as Substack.
