The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) presented its Fashion Hong Kong runway show during London Fashion Week, featuring Autumn/Winter 2026 collections from four Hong Kong designers to over 300 international buyers, media representatives, and fashion professionals. The event, held at The Vinyl Factory in Soho on February 19, demonstrated Hong Kong’s emergence as a significant fashion design center in Asia through diverse creative expressions ranging from avant-garde futurism to zero-waste tailoring.

Designers Angus Tsui (ANGUS TSUI), Bettie Jiang (Bettie Haute Couture), Harrison Wong (HARRISON WONG), and Menu Tsai (selfFab.) displayed collections that emphasized innovation, sustainability, and global perspectives. The show attracted notable attendees including model Eva Apio, singer CC Clarke, influencer Leo Mandella, and stylist Karine Laudort, while receiving coverage from international fashion media such as BBC News, DAZED, Forbes, Vogue Business, and Wonderland. This exposure not only highlighted Hong Kong designers’ capabilities but also facilitated exchange between Hong Kong and UK fashion industries.

Complementing the runway presentation, a curated display featured selected works from the designers alongside innovative materials from ‘NEXT@Fashion InStyle,’ an initiative showcasing global material suppliers that will be featured at the upcoming Fashion InStyle trade platform in Hong Kong. This exhibition illustrated how designers creatively utilize new materials at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and artistry. Further supporting international expansion, the HKTDC operated a professional designer showroom in London from February 18-23 at Unit 505, 70 Wapping Wall, where international buyers could engage directly with brands to understand design philosophies and production details while exploring collaboration opportunities.

The Fashion Hong Kong initiative, active since 2015, has consistently promoted Hong Kong designers at major fashion weeks including New York, London, and Tokyo. The program’s return to London Fashion Week in 2026 underscores the international potential of Hong Kong design talent. With over 50 global offices, the HKTDC continues connecting Hong Kong designers with worldwide creative ecosystems through platforms like Fashion Hong Kong and its comprehensive support services, reinforcing Hong Kong’s position as a leading Asian fashion hub while helping local brands expand their overseas presence through direct market engagement and business networking opportunities.
