After two straight World Series championships and with a third one clearly in sight, the Los Angeles Dodgers are frequently the subject of comments from other teams and their players.

This winter, as the Dodgers extended their blockbuster payroll by adding star newcomers Edwin Diaz and Kyle Tucker, several star players voiced their support for the organization. Both Bryce Harper and Manny Machado, for instance, indicated that they appreciate what the Dodgers are doing.

Chicago Cubs All-Star Pete Crow-Armstrong Goes Viral For Suggesting Los Angeles Dodgers Fans Don’t Care

But others have been less complimentary. In a recent interview, Southern California native and reigning Chicago Cubs All-Star Pete Crow-Armstrong sent a shot at the team’s fans while comparing them to those at Wrigley Field.

“I love Chicago more and more,” Crow-Armstrong told Chicago Magazine’s Wayne Drehs. “It’s just an incredible city. The people are great. They give a (expletive). They aren’t just baseball fans who go to the game like Dodgers fans to take pictures and whatever. They are paying attention. They care.”

The comment quickly caught significant attention, drawing secondary coverage from the likes of the Chicago Sun-Times, the Los Angeles Times and the New York Post, among other outlets. As a result, Crow-Armstrong was asked to elaborate on his stance during a recent appearance on “Foul Territory.”

“I grew up going to Dodgers games when they weren’t always good,” Crow-Armstrong explained during the show on Wednesday. “I remember like, all fans fight and stuff, but putting the (San Francisco) Giants fan in a coma. That stuck with me as a kid… Sitting in the stands, just nasty stuff goes on. I didn’t always experience that at other ballparks.”

Chicago Cubs All-Star Pete Crow-Armstrong Backtracks Viral Los Angeles Dodgers Comments With Message About Freddie Freeman

In addition to noting that his personal experience was to see some Dodgers fans more focused on fighting than they were on the games, Crow-Armstrong also wanted to clarify his feelings about the coaching staff and players.

“I didn’t get a chance to really, like, back that statement up with the fact that that has nothing to do with Doc (manager Dave Roberts), that has nothing to do with Shohei (Ohtani), any of the players over there,” Crow-Armstrong added. “I love Mookie Betts, I look up to him like crazy. Freddy (Freeman’s) only ever been great to me. If anything, those are the guys that have given these fans a reason to be fans.”

Though Crow-Armstrong’s complimentary follow up extended to virtually the entire organization, his message about Freeman seemed to come with a personal recollection of their actual interactions together. Crow-Armstrong didn’t elaborate on when he’s come into contact with Freeman, but he might be curious to see if he will continue to be as gracious as he has been in the past after the young outfielder dissed Dodgers fans.

The fund’s primary goal is to expose investors to the most significant digital assets in the market without requiring them to buy, store, or secure the coins directly. In July, the SEC delayed its decision to convert GDLC from an OTC fund into an exchange-listed ETP on NYSE Arca, citing further review. However, the latest developments raise investors’ hopes that a multi-asset crypto ETP from Grayscale will soon become a reality. Approval under the Generic Listing Standards will help “streamline the process,” opening the door for more crypto ETPs. Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and ADA investors are the most…
