Power of the Past Festival Celebrates The AgriCultural Museum’s 40th Anniversary in Boerne

The AgriCultural Museum & Arts Center in Boerne, Texas will mark its 40th anniversary with the Power of the Past Festival on Saturday, March 7, 2026. This free, family-friendly event features vintage vehicles, antique tractors, live music, heritage cooking demonstrations and living-history exhibits across the museum’s open-air grounds.

Featured Attractions
The festival will showcase historic engines, vintage cars, trucks and antique tractors. Re-enactors from the Frontier History Company Foundation will demonstrate turn-of-the-century pioneer life, while a blacksmith works all day in the blacksmith shop. Visitors can also tour the Big Red Barn to see collections of historic farming equipment, tools, and an extensive display of vintage farm toys.

Enjoy a variety of food trucks including Johnny Naan’s Pizza and Stoltze’s BBQ, and craft beer by Cibolo Creek Brewing Co. Personalized drawings by Texas’ official character artist, Jerry Cardona, will be available, along with 40th-anniversary t-shirts.

Formerly the Agricultural Heritage Museum, The AgriCultural (102 City Park Road, Boerne, TX 78006) is a living-history campus featuring a blacksmith shop, woodworking shop, Pioneer House, wagon house, main museum building and extensive outdoor exhibits of antique farm machinery and implements. Visitors may take self-guided tours. Regular programs include twice-monthly Bluegrass Jams (2nd & 4th Saturdays), semi-weekly art workshops with the Hill Country Council for the Arts, antique tractor pulls, an annual pumpkin patch and more.
