The 32nd Annual Actor Awards, formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards, are streaming live on Sunday night in Los Angeles. What time does the ceremony get underway?
Director Paul Thomas Anderson’s action comedy One Battle After Another leads all Actor Awards nominees with seven Motion Picture nominations, including Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble Cast, Outstanding Male Actor in a Lead Role for Leonardo DiCaprio and Outstanding Female Actor in a Lead Role for Chase Infiniti.
Writer-director Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, which dominated the 2026 NAACP Image Awards Saturday night, is going into the Actor Awards with five nominations, including Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble Cast and Outstanding Male Actor in a Lead Role for Michael B. Jordan.
The Studio has five nominations to lead all television nominees for the 2026 Actors Awards. The Apple TV comedy series is nominated for Outstanding Ensemble Cast for a Comedy Series, along with Outstanding Male Actor in a Comedy Series nods for Ike Barinholtz and Seth Rogen, and Outstanding Female Actor in a Comedy Series nods for Kathryn Hahn and the late Catherine O’Hara, who died on Jan. 30.

What Time Are The 2026 Actor Awards And Where Can I Watch The Ceremony?
The 2026 Actor Awards will begin streaming live on Netflix beginning on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles. The ceremony will not be available to watch on free TV or cable TV.
For viewers who don’t subscribe to Netflix, the streaming platform offers an ad-based and ad-free package where content can be supported on two devices. The ad-based package costs $7.99 per month and the ad-free package is $17.99 per month.
Netflix also offers an ad-free HD package that supports four devices, which costs $24.99 per month.

What Happened To The Screen Actors Guild Awards?
The Screen Actors Guild Awards didn’t go away, the name of the ceremony was merely changed to The Actor Awards Presented by SAG-AFTRA in November 2025.
The reason for the change was explained in a statement on The Actor Awards website, which reads, “Since the show started over 30 years ago, our iconic statuette has always been called The Actor, and simply evolving the show’s name to align with the award itself made obvious sense.
“We wanted to provide clearer recognition in terms of what the show is about for our domestic and global audiences – we honor actors in film and television,” the statement continued. “Laser-focusing the name on those two things became the clearest and most straightforward path for this new chapter of the show.”

Who Is Hosting The 2026 Actor Awards?
Actor Kristen Bell is back to return to host the Actor Awards for the third time.
“I’ve enjoyed hosting the show every time, so it was an easy decision to come back for a third,” Bell said in a statement about her return as host. “What I’m most excited for is the fact that I’ll be doing what every actor does best … sing :).”
Jon Brockett, the showrunner and executive producer for The Actor Awards, said in a statement that he’s thrilled to have Bell return to host the ceremony once again.
“Kristen Bell knows this show, she knows this community and she knows how to keep everyone entertained and laughing without ever losing the heart of the night,” Brockett said. “Having Kristen return to host feels like welcoming back a member of the family. One you actually want to hang out with.”

Are Any Special Honors Being Handed Out At The 2026 Actor Awards?
As in years past, SAG-AFTRA is honoring a Hollywood legend with the Life Achievement Award, which is the guild’s highest honor.
This year, Star Wars and Indiana Jones star Harrison Ford is the recipient of the Life Achievement Award. Over Ford’s illustrious six-decade career, he has starred in more than 80 film and television roles.
In addition to his work in the Star Wars and Indiana Jones films, Ford has starred in such film classics as American Graffiti, Apocalypse Now, Blade Runner, Patriot Games and Witness — the latter of which earned him his only Oscar nomination, which was for Best Actor.
Ford most recently appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie Captain America: Brave New World and the television series 1923 and Shrinking.
Woody Harrelson will present the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award to Ford at Sunday night’s ceremony.
