He argued that allowing "crazy people" to acquire nuclear weapons would have consequences even worse than regional conflicts. Trump said, "I have no concerns about sending troops to the ground. Unlike other presidents who say 'I will never send troops to the ground.' I don't say that; I say 'we may not need them,' or 'if necessary.'" A Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted on Saturday and Sunday showed that only 27% of Americans approved of the attack, while 43% disapproved, and 29% were unsure.
