PANews reported on March 9th that Microsoft (MSFT.O) is launching a new office software bundle aimed at attracting more users to its AI tools in the workplace. The E7 bundle is priced at $99 per user per month, a 65% increase over Microsoft's previous flagship bundle. The bundle will include commonly used tools such as Word and Excel, as well as the company's Copilot AI assistant and a feature that allows administrators to assess the use of AI within the enterprise. In January, Microsoft stated that over 450 million enterprise users have paid for its office software, but only about 3% of these users also pay for Copilot.
