Projects usually stop looking “early” once the market starts paying attention. Mutuum Finance (MUTM) is in that in-between zone right now. It is still priced at $0.04, still below its confirmed $0.06 launch price, and already drawing a bigger crowd than most presales manage at this stage. The project has raised about $20.8 million, passed 19,000 holders, and sold more than 850 million tokens from its presale allocation, which is why it keeps entering more 2026 watchlists.

Fast support

Support around MUTM is building for two reasons at the same time: price positioning and protocol progress. Buyers who entered in Phase 1 at $0.01 are already looking at a 300% gain at the current $0.04 price, while investors entering now are still below launch and positioned for a 50% move by the time the token reaches $0.06. That kind of built-in progression tends to matter when people are trying to find a cheaper entry ahead of a broader market move.

The presale numbers also suggest this is no longer a quiet early-stage raise. With more than 19,000 holders and funding above $20.6M–$20.8M, Mutuum Finance has already moved into the category of projects that investors are tracking actively rather than casually. Recent coverage around the project has also highlighted that it is already in Phase 7, which adds to the sense that the easier entry window is gradually shrinking.

How holders benefit

Mutuum Finance is being built as a decentralized lending and borrowing protocol, and that is what gives the token more weight than a typical presale altcoin. On one side, suppliers deposit assets into liquidity pools and receive mtTokens that represent their position. Those deposits can generate passive yield as borrowers use the pools. On the other side, borrowers get access to liquidity without needing to sell the assets they already hold. The platform also uses two market structures — pooled lending and a more flexible dual-market design — to support both deeper liquidity and a wider range of assets over time.

The token model is where many investors focus. Once users receive mtTokens, those positions can be staked, and the project’s design links that staking activity to MUTM rewards. According to project disclosures, part of protocol-generated fees is intended to be used to buy MUTM from the market and distribute it back through the ecosystem. For token holders and mtToken stakers, that matters because demand is meant to come from actual platform usage rather than from exchange speculation alone.

Why Q3 2026 matters

The project is already showing more than just a token sale. Mutuum Finance’s V1 protocol is live on the Sepolia testnet, and reports in March 2026 put simulated TVL above $225 million. Public descriptions of the V1 build also point to features like mtTokens, Debt Tokens, Safe Mode Borrow Presets, and risk-management tools already being tested. That gives the market something more substantial to evaluate before mainnet.

Community participation is also being kept active through incentives, including a $100,000 giveaway for 10 winners and a 24-hour leaderboard that awards a $500 MUTM bonus to the top daily contributor. Those programs do not replace utility, but they do help explain why attention around the project has stayed high while development continues.

That is why MUTM keeps showing up as a top crypto opportunity before Q3 2026. The token is still early, the entry price remains below launch, and the protocol behind it is already moving past concept stage into something investors can actually track.

Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC

The post Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson has weighed in on whether the Federal Reserve should make a 25 basis points (bps) Fed rate cut or 50 bps cut. This comes ahead of the Fed decision today at today’s FOMC meeting, with the market pricing in a 25 bps cut. Bitcoin and the broader crypto market are currently trading flat ahead of the rate cut decision. Franklin Templeton CEO Weighs In On Potential FOMC Decision In a CNBC interview, Jenny Johnson said that she expects the Fed to make a 25 bps cut today instead of a 50 bps cut. She acknowledged the jobs data, which suggested that the labor market is weakening. However, she noted that this data is backward-looking, indicating that it doesn’t show the current state of the economy. She alluded to the wage growth, which she remarked is an indication of a robust labor market. She added that retail sales are up and that consumers are still spending, despite inflation being sticky at 3%, which makes a case for why the FOMC should opt against a 50-basis-point Fed rate cut. In line with this, the Franklin Templeton CEO said that she would go with a 25 bps rate cut if she were Jerome Powell. She remarked that the Fed still has the October and December FOMC meetings to make further cuts if the incoming data warrants it. Johnson also asserted that the data show a robust economy. However, she noted that there can’t be an argument for no Fed rate cut since Powell already signaled at Jackson Hole that they were likely to lower interest rates at this meeting due to concerns over a weakening labor market. Notably, her comment comes as experts argue for both sides on why the Fed should make a 25 bps cut or…
