PANews reported on March 25th that, according to information forwarded by ZachXBT and published by on-chain analysis firm AMLBot, one of the addresses mistakenly frozen by Circle in a civil case, 0xb25ea1d493b49a1ded42ac5b1208cc618f9a9b80, is related to the DFINITY ecosystem. The accompanying operational guidelines indicate that this address participates in the cross-chain exchange process between ETH and ckETH. It is used by ICP-side contracts to mint ckETH after users deposit ETH, and then exchange ckETH back to ETH on Ethereum when needed, making it a typical operational/bridging service wallet.
Last night, it was reported that ZachXBT questioned Circle's freezing of 16 business hot wallets, USDC .
