PANews reported on March 29 that BNP Paribas announced an expansion of its trading products, launching six cryptocurrency exchange-traded notes (ETNs) pegged to Bitcoin and Ethereum for retail clients in France.
This product allows investors to indirectly access crypto assets through their securities accounts without directly holding BTC or ETH, and will operate under the MIFID2 regulatory framework. The related ETN product is scheduled to officially launch on March 30, 2026, and is expected to further expand to a wider range of wealth management clients in the future.
