MANILA, Philippines – The observance of Maundy Thursday, April 2, begins with the annual Chrism Mass.
During this liturgical celebration, holy oils used in baptism, confirmation, and other church rituals throughout the year are blessed. Priests also renew the vows they made during their ordination.
