Natech Supports Regulatory Compliance at BMW Financial Services Greece

Natech Banking Solutions, Southern Europe’s leading banking technology platform, today announced that BMW Financial Services in Greece is using Natech solutions to support regulatory compliance processes. The partnership brings Natech’s flagship regulatory solutions, Bancapp and e-Pothen, to the local operations of BMW Financial Services in Greece, enabling automated compliance and streamlined access to verified customer financial data. 

Bancapp (Bank Accounts Nexus Crosscheck Application) automates the retrieval and cross-checking of bank account data, giving authorized institutions the ability to verify customer asset information, analyze transaction patterns, and confirm the sources and uses of funds. For BMW Financial Services, this capability supports compliance checks and regulatory requirements during customer onboarding and servicing.

e-Pothen (Pothen Esches Application) is Natech’s regulatory application that connects financial institutions with Greece’s General Secretariat for Information Systems & Digital Governance. Hosted on Natech’s Web Platform, it automates the collection and transmission of data required for the annual and initial Asset Declaration Statement (“Pothen Esches” – meaning “where did it come from”) for individual persons.

Natech’s regulatory compliance solutions are designed to support the following processes at BMW Financial Services Greece:

• Retrieve and verify customer banking history of up to five years directly from tax authorities
• Access detailed transaction data to assess inflows, outflows, and overall financial behavior 
• Collect and transmit asset declaration data to Greece’s General Secretariat for Information Systems & Digital Governance
• Automate compliance checks for asset verification, reporting, and annual asset declarations
• Integrate seamlessly with existing workflows, reducing manual intervention and processing time
