What is the ACTUAL story behind XRP?

When you think about crypto, I believe the first 2 things that come to mind are Bitcoin and Ethereum. Well for most , the 3rd is XRP.

For me is actually Solana, but we don’t talk about that now.

A friend told me recently to look into it and what I found in my analysis convinced me personally to add it to my portfolio and to keep on stacking.

ofc…I am going to explain everything in this article on the “moral” implication, the financial one and the actual numbers behind it.

The Legal Battle That Changed Everything

Before we talk about what XRP does or why it might be a good investment, we need to address the SEC lawsuit.

In December 2020, the SEC sued Ripple Labs claiming they conducted an unregistered securities offering by selling XRP. This tanked XRP’s price and got it delisted from major U.S. exchanges.

But here’s where it gets interesting…

In July 2023, Judge Analisa Torres delivered a split ruling:

• Retail XRP sales on exchanges were NOT securities
• Institutional sales to sophisticated investors WERE securities
