PANews reported on November 8th that, according to an official announcement, Clanker will permanently return control of transaction fees collected in the form of Clanker tokens to the project creators. Creators can claim or burn these fees, thus giving their communities greater flexibility in development. This change will take effect on November 13, 2025. Clanker v3.1 and earlier versions charged a maximum fee of 0.6%, payable in WETH or project tokens. Clanker v4 reduced the fee to 0.2%, payable only in WETH.
