Biggest XRP ETFs Launch LIVE Updates: First 30 Minutes Deliver $6.85M But Grayscale, Franklin Templeton Start Weak

The first 30 minutes of live trading for the four newly launched XRP ETFs delivered a mixed but active start, with combined turnover reaching $6.85 million. Bitwise led the pack with 128,586 shares worth $2.97 million, while Canary followed with 113,465 shares totaling $2.49 million. Franklin’s XRPZ posted 39,000 shares for $878,670, and Grayscale’s GXRP lagged with 12,470 shares amounting to $500,296.

Early trading shows strong first-share activity for the new XRP ETFs. Grayscale’s GXRP opened with 350 shares traded at $40.14, while Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ saw a much larger early burst with 7,221 shares traded at $22.52.

Grayscale has officially introduced the Grayscale XRP Trust ETF (GXRP), now live and trading with 0 percent fees. The firm, known as one of the world’s largest crypto-focused asset managers, says GXRP gives investors simple brokerage access to XRP, currently the third-largest digital asset by market size.

Early trading data shows a solid start for the new XRP ETFs. Canary opened with 53,907 in volume, while Bitwise followed closely with 45,217.

XRP has risen to $2.08, gaining 1.52 percent in the last 24 hours after bouncing from the key $1.85 to $1.75 support zone. This is the same area where buyers previously picked up 1.8 billion XRP.XRP investment products also saw $89.3 million in inflows last week, even as the wider crypto market recorded $1.94 billion in outflows.

An expert has issued a quick breakdown for investors choosing between direct XRP ownership and the new XRP ETFs now launching. According to him, ETFs offer simple brokerage access, high liquidity, and no need for wallets, but investors do not actually own XRP and must pay management fees. Direct XRP ownership provides full utility, lower long-term costs, and true control of the asset, but comes with its own challenges, including custody and tax complexity.

Analyst says he is holding his position despite a 45 percent drop from the recent high, just as new XRP ETFs begin trading. He argued that fears of a deeper crash after the ETF launches are exaggerated and said he is committed to staying in the market. The update comes as Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ and Grayscale’s GXRP go live, bringing fresh attention and volatility to XRP.
