PANews reported on December 30 that, according to STS Digital, an institution specializing in digital asset derivatives trading, institutional investors are applying Bitcoin options strategies to altcoins to cope with price volatility and increase returns.

Maxime Seiler, co-founder and CEO of STS Digital, stated that institutional clients include token projects, foundations, large cryptocurrency investors, and asset management companies. These participants are utilizing Bitcoin options strategies, such as selling call and put options, to generate profits or hedge risks. Furthermore, buying call and put options is also widely used in the altcoin market to mitigate the risk of forced liquidation and manage market volatility.
