PANews reported on January 2nd that, according to on-chain analyst Yu Jin, a whale who borrowed 5,000 ETH a month ago to short sell chose to close his position and withdrew 4,830 ETH from Binance to repay the loan on-chain. He made approximately $390,000 from this short ETH sale: he borrowed ETH to short sell on December 5th when ETH was $3,132, and today he bought back ETH at $3,054 to repay the loan.
