Republican strategist and media consultant Rick Wilson says he keeps bumping into Trump voters who are wailing over the predicament their president keeps putting them in.

“You can't spin your way out of objective reality hitting people in the face [at the gas pump,” Wilson told “Jim Acosta Show” host Jim Acosta. “I’m out at the airport right now. And a couple hangers down I’m talking to [this guy]. Very MAGA. And he's like, ‘I can't believe what Trump did. I can't believe he did this. Because … I just paid $7 a gallon for aviation fuel for my airplane.’ I'm like, yeah, you did. What was it two weeks ago? ‘$4.35 [he says].’”

“Flying is not a cheap hobby, right? But this guy, I've talked to him a number of times — we’re civil with each other — but he was stunned. But he had to know this [was coming]. He had to know this,” Wilson added. “And now we’re all paying the price.”

Acosta cited clips of other Trump voters angrily renouncing their vote, saying “it seems to me right now people are just getting a whiff of the big old pile of poop that is in front of their face.”

Acosta added that the MAGA movement, now financially betrayed, is gearing up to smash its leader with the same finesse they used on former president Biden.

“I remember when Biden was in office, people would, you know, the little a—— wipes would stick the little stickers [of Biden] on the gas pumps that said, ‘I did this’ in our show. … And now you're starting to see the Donald Trump ones,” Acosta said.

Wilson went on to point out that farmers and U.S. manufacturers are still living Trump’s “bad, bad dream,” and many of them were also Trump voters in the last election.

“He's hurting his own people. And one more thing: … The young men and women who are going to fight this war and die when he puts troops on the ground in Iran, they're MAGA,” said Wilson, the co-founder of the conservative Lincoln Project. “More likely than not their families are MAGA, or they're MAGA. So, he's sending your kids to die for a war that wasn't planned, for a goal that he couldn't articulate if it bit him on the a——. And to help who? I mean, we have set the world economy and the world stability back a decade or more because of this insanity.”

Italy passes law on AI outlining privacy and child access

The post Italy passes law on AI outlining privacy and child access appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Italy has formally passed a sweeping new law to regulate artificial intelligence, becoming the first member of the European Union to roll out comprehensive legislation in step with the bloc’s landmark AI Act. The Italian Senate granted final approval after a year of debate, concluding what Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s government described as a decisive step in shaping how new technologies are deployed across the country. Italy sets tough penalties for offenders The legislation, ministers argue, lays out the boundaries for human-centric, transparent, and safe use of AI while balancing the need to foster innovation, cybersecurity, and economic growth. The law casts its net widely, and it stretches into healthcare, schools, the justice system, workplaces, sport, and the public sector. AI access for children under 14 has also been tightened, and it now requires parental consent. “This law brings innovation back within the perimeter of the public interest, steering AI toward growth, rights and full protection of citizens.” Alessio Butti, the undersecretary for digital transformation. Lawmakers also opted for a hard line on abuses. A new offence has been added to the criminal code covering the unlawful spread of AI-generated or manipulated content, such as deepfakes. Anyone found guilty faces between one and five years in prison if their actions cause harm. Using AI to commit fraud, identity theft, market manipulation, or money laundering will now be treated as an aggravating circumstance, raising potential sentences by a third. Judges remain the sole authority in legal rulings, though courts are empowered to demand rapid takedowns of illicit material. Government agencies to oversee its implementation Responsibility for enforcing the regime lies with the Agency for Digital Italy and the National Cybersecurity Agency, though existing financial watchdogs such as the Bank of Italy and Consob retain powers in their own spheres. The Department…
