Binance Offers 13.59% APR With No Reward Cap

Binance has introduced a USD1 airdrop campaign that offers users up to 13.59% variable APR. Eligible USD1 holders will share a $40 million reward pool in World Liberty Financial (WLFI) tokens. The campaign started on January 23, 2026, and will end on February 20, 2026.

The exchange said, “Now’s your chance to earn up to 13.59% (variable) APR on rewards with no individual reward cap.” Binance distributes rewards weekly to users’ Spot accounts in WLFI tokens.

$40 Million WLFI Distributed Over Four Weeks

Binance will allocate the $40 million WLFI pool across four weekly distributions of $10 million each. The first payout took place on February 2 and covered balances from January 23 to January 30. The exchange scheduled additional payouts every Friday during the campaign period.

The effective APR has changed each week. The first week recorded a 16.2% base APR and 19.5% boosted APR. The second week showed 12.60% base and 15.13% boosted. The third week recorded 11.3% base and 13.6% boosted. Binance calculates rewards using the lowest USD1 balance captured in hourly snapshots each day.

How Users Qualify for Rewards

Users must hold USD1 in Spot, Funding, Margin, or USDⓈ-M Futures accounts to qualify. Binance measures net assets, which means assets minus liabilities. Borrowed USD1 does not count toward the qualifying balance. Users must maintain at least 0.01 USD1 during hourly snapshots.

USD1 used as collateral in Margin or Futures accounts receives a 1.2x reward multiplier. Users do not need to trade or use leverage to receive the boost. Weekly rewards depend on each user’s qualifying balance compared with the total eligible balances on the platform.

Regional Limits and Compliance Rules

Certain regions cannot participate in the USD1 campaign. Binance excludes users in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, and several European countries. Users must complete identity verification and reside in an eligible jurisdiction.

Binance determines the WLFI token value using the official market closing price one day before each distribution. The exchange may update campaign rules to comply with legal or regulatory changes. It may also disqualify accounts involved in dishonest activity.

UK crypto holders brace for FCA’s expanded regulatory reach

The post UK crypto holders brace for FCA’s expanded regulatory reach appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. British crypto holders may soon face a very different landscape as the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) moves to expand its regulatory reach in the industry. A new consultation paper outlines how the watchdog intends to apply its rulebook to crypto firms, shaping everything from asset safeguarding to trading platform operation. According to the financial regulator, these proposals would translate into clearer protections for retail investors and stricter oversight of crypto firms. UK FCA plans Until now, UK crypto users mostly encountered the FCA through rules on promotions and anti-money laundering checks. The consultation paper goes much further. It proposes direct oversight of stablecoin issuers, custodians, and crypto-asset trading platforms (CATPs). For investors, that means the wallets, exchanges, and coins they rely on could soon be subject to the same governance and resilience standards as traditional financial institutions. The regulator has also clarified that firms need official authorization before serving customers. This condition should, in theory, reduce the risk of sudden platform failures or unclear accountability. David Geale, the FCA’s executive director of payments and digital finance, said the proposals are designed to strike a balance between innovation and protection. He explained: “We want to develop a sustainable and competitive crypto sector – balancing innovation, market integrity and trust.” Geale noted that while the rules will not eliminate investment risks, they will create consistent standards, helping consumers understand what to expect from registered firms. Why does this matter for crypto holders? The UK regulatory framework shift would provide safer custody of assets, better disclosure of risks, and clearer recourse if something goes wrong. However, the regulator was also frank in its submission, arguing that no rulebook can eliminate the volatility or inherent risks of holding digital assets. Instead, the focus is on ensuring that when consumers choose to invest, they do…
