OFFICIAL TRUMP (TRUMP) Tokenomics

The Official Trump (TRUMP) token is a Solana-based memecoin launched by President-elect Donald Trump on January 17, 2026. The project is designed as a community-driven asset intended to function as an expression of support for the ideals and beliefs embodied by the "$TRUMP" symbol and associated artwork.

Issuance and Supply Mechanism

The TRUMP token has a fixed total supply of 1,000,000,000 (1 billion) tokens. The issuance was conducted on the Solana blockchain using the LFG stack, which includes the DLMM pool and ILM design with tight Jupiter integration.

On the first day of launch, 200 million tokens (20% of the total supply) were made available to the public and for liquidity. The remaining 800 million tokens (80%) are subject to a multi-year vesting and unlocking schedule that extends through mid-2028.

Allocation Mechanism

The token distribution is heavily concentrated, with approximately 80% of the total supply allocated to entities associated with the project's creators and the Trump organization.

Usage and Incentive Mechanism

The TRUMP token primarily serves as a speculative asset and a tool for community engagement. According to official project disclosures, the tokens are not intended to be an investment opportunity or security.

Key Incentives and Features:

• Community Rewards: The project has implemented a "TRUMP Rewards Points" system.
• Exclusive Events: Top holders are provided with unique incentives. For example, the top 220 holders (based on average holdings between April 23 and May 12, 2025) were invited to a dinner with Donald Trump at the Trump National Golf Club.
• NFT Distributions: Participants in community events and top holders receive branded NFTs, including a "TRUMP DIAMOND HAND" edition for those who maintain their holdings through specific event periods.
• Airdrops: Community members who purchased official Trump products (sneakers, watches, fragrances, or cards) prior to February 15, 2025, were eligible to claim an allocation of 3 TRUMP tokens.
• Revenue Sharing: CIC Digital LLC and Celebration Cards LLC receive trading revenue derived from the trading activities of Trump Meme Cards.

Locking and Unlocking Mechanism

The 80% of the supply held by insiders is subject to a rigorous vesting schedule involving cliffs and linear daily unlocks over a two-year period following the cliff.

Unlocking Schedule Details:

The initial major unlock event occurred on April 19, 2025, releasing approximately $312 million worth of tokens. Following the initial cliffs, the remaining tokens for each group vest linearly over 1,096 days (approximately three years).

In April 2025, the team announced a lockup extension where tokens from the initial cliff and the subsequent three months of daily unlocks would remain locked for an additional 90 days to manage market liquidity. By mid-2028, the daily drip of tokens (estimated at approximately $3.8 million daily) will conclude, at which point insiders will hold the full 80% of the supply.
