South Korea’s gaming and blockchain leader WEMADE has announced the formation of the Global Alliance for KRW Stablecoin (GAKS) with Chainalysis, SentBe, and CertiK. The strategic alliance aims to strengthen StableNet, WEMADE’s blockchain mainnet dedicated to the KRW Stablecoin. The initiative seeks to enhance stability, compliance, and global adoption of Korea’s national currency–backed digital asset.
The collaboration highlights South Korea’s rapid progress in blockchain regulation and stablecoin infrastructure. By partnering with global blockchain and fintech leaders, WEMADE plans to build a secure and transparent ecosystem. The move also aligns with South Korea’s ambition to lead the regional digital currency market.
The partnership launch took place in Singapore where participants discussed the roadmap for KRW Stablecoin growth and international expansion. The alliance emphasized innovation and standardization to ensure reliability. Moreover, the event marked a milestone in connecting blockchain technology with real-world finance.
WEMADE and Chainalysis will integrate advanced blockchain monitoring tools to secure the KRW Stablecoin infrastructure. Chainalysis will deploy its Web3 solutions—Hexagate, Sentinel, and Alterya—to monitor threats and enhance compliance. The integration will provide continuous oversight, ensuring that StableNet meets global financial standards.
CertiK will conduct comprehensive security audits for StableNet and manage its block explorer to improve transparency. The company will also continue node validation services for WEMADE, reinforcing network reliability. These steps aim to deliver a safer environment for KRW Stablecoin transactions.
Chainalysis and CertiK will strengthen the core infrastructure supporting KRW Stablecoin issuance and circulation. Their combined expertise will help establish StableNet as a globally trusted platform. This collaboration also underscores the importance of regulatory readiness in digital currency ecosystems.
SentBe will lead the integration of KRW Stablecoin into cross-border payment systems. The fintech firm’s infrastructure, covering 174 countries, will enable smooth remittance and settlement in KRW Stablecoin. Its on/off-ramp systems will support seamless currency exchange, enhancing liquidity.
WEMADE aims to make KRW Stablecoin usable in everyday financial transactions. The company’s focus on scalability and regulatory compliance will accelerate the coin’s adoption. The partnership also opens opportunities for institutions and users to utilize KRW Stablecoin in global trade.
The StableNet testnet source code was released in October, with a test launch expected in December. Following successful verification, the full launch is scheduled for early 2026. Through GAKS, WEMADE and its partners intend to establish KRW Stablecoin as a secure, transparent, and globally recognized digital asset.
