Week 6 was a bad one for injuries, especially at wide receiver. Among those who went down were Puka Nacua (ankle), Garrett Wilson (knee), and Marvin Harrison Jr. (concussion). In addition to players seeing increased fantasy value because of injuries, others could see their stock fall because of a declining role or disappointing performance. Here are the top Week 7 fantasy football risers and fallers to keep in mind for your waiver wire claims, lineup decisions, and long-term roster strategy.

Week 7 Fantasy Football Risers

Davante Adams, WR, Los Angeles Rams

Nacua is considered as “day-to-day”, but it would make sense for the Rams to hold him out for at least one game. They will play the Jaguars in London in Week 7, then they have a bye in Week 8. If Nacua does sit out this week, then Adams would be in line to be the Rams’ top wide receiver. Even as their second-best option, he has posted 26 receptions for 396 yards and three touchdowns this season.

D’Andre Swift, RB, Chicago Bears

Swift had his best game of the season in Week 6, rushing 14 times for 108 yards against the Commanders. He also had two receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown. It could be the beginning of an extended hot streak for Swift as four of his next five opponents have allowed at least 4.4 yards per carry.

Josh Reynolds, WR, New York Jets

Wilson leads the Jets with 56 targets this season. Not only will he likely be out for Week 7, but initial reports indicate that he is expected to miss a couple of games. More targets could be coming the way of Reynolds, who will face the Panthers and Bengals the next two week. The Panthers have allowed 24.3 points per game, while the Bengals have given up 30.5 points per game. Reynolds could work his want into the WR3 discussion in deeper fantasy formats.

Week 7 Fantasy Football Fallers

Jauan Jennings, WR, San Francisco 49ers

Jennings caught just one pass for seven yards against the Buccaneers in Week 6. After the game, he said he is playing with five broken ribs, as well as high and low ankle sprains. Until he gets healthy, it’s difficult to have much faith in him in fantasy moving forward.

Tyrone Tracy Jr., RB, New York Giants

In Tracy’s return from a two-game absence because of a shoulder injury, he posted just six rushing yards on four carries against the Eagles. His fellow backfield mate Cam Skattebo ran 19 time for 98 yards and three touchdowns. Skattebo has surpassed Tracy on the Giants’ depth chart, so Tracy shouldn’t be started in any fantasy leagues right now.

Keon Coleman, WR, Buffalo Bills

Coleman didn’t make much of an impact against the Falcons on Monday Night Football, catching three of six targets for 11 yards. After posting eight catches for 112 yards and a touchdown in Week 1, Coleman has 16 receptions for 125 yards and one touchdown over his last five games. The Bills are on a bye in Week 7, but even when they return in Week 8, Coleman should only be viewed as an inconsistent WR3 in fantasy.

Takeaway

Injuries could result in Adams and Reynolds seeing their fantasy value rise, while a favorable schedule could provide a boost for Swift. Jennings, Tracy, and Coleman have seen their fantasy values fall to the point where they shouldn’t be started in most leagues. Here’s How Consumers May Benefit From Lower Interest Rates

The post Here’s How Consumers May Benefit From Lower Interest Rates appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Topline The Federal Reserve on Wednesday opted to ease interest rates for the first time in months, leading the way for potentially lower mortgage rates, bond yields and a likely boost to cryptocurrency over the coming weeks. Average long-term mortgage rates dropped to their lowest levels in months ahead of the central bank’s policy shift. Copyright{2018} The Associated Press. All rights reserved. Key Facts The central bank’s policymaking panel voted this week to lower interest rates, which have sat between 4.25% and 4.5% since December, to a new range of 4% and 4.25%. How Will Lower Interest Rates Impact Mortgage Rates? Mortgage rates tend to fall before and during a period of interest rate cuts: The average 30-year fixed-rate mortgage dropped to 6.35% from 6.5% last week, the lowest level since October 2024, mortgage buyer Freddie Mac reported. Borrowing costs on 15-year fixed-rate mortgages also dropped to 5.5% from 5.6% as they neared the year-ago rate of 5.27%. When the Federal Reserve lowered the funds rate to between 0% and 0.25% during the pandemic, 30-year mortgage rates hit record lows between 2.7% and 3% by the end of 2020, according to data published by Freddie Mac. Consumers who refinanced their mortgages in 2020 saved about $5.3 billion annually as rates dropped, according to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Similarly, mortgage rates spiked around 7% as interest rates were hiked in 2022 and 2023, though mortgage rates appeared to react within weeks of the Fed opting to cut or raise rates. How Do Treasury Bonds Respond To Lower Interest Rates? Long-term Treasury yields are more directly influenced by interest rates, as lower rates tend to result in lower yields. When the Fed pushed rates to near zero during the pandemic, 10-year Treasury yields fell to an all-time low of 0.5%. As…
