HYPE joins BCH, BNB, and TRX as 2025’s only rising L1 tokens, driven by strong liquidity, stable supply structures, and improving network activity.

HYPE joined BCH, BNB, and TRX as the only L1 gainers in 2025, according to fresh data shared by Crypto Koryo. The update touted the BCH as the shining star, which is supported by its almost forty percent increase, as well as the fact that the supply is fully circulating and there’s no venture sell pressure.

Current updates informed that there were unique developments in each of the four networks. Hyperliquid advanced in the face of the DeFi sector, owing to the increase in trading volumes and the growing attention of institutions. However, a scheduled token unlock induced temporary selling pressure while new oversight signals added uncertainty around platform operations and regulatory expectations.

Broader Shifts Shape Performance Across L1 Networks

Bitcoin Cash had its own series of changes throughout the year. Developers were made ready for a scheduled decrease in the amount of time used in a block in order to improve network throughput. Several times, the market became more stable, though volatility was still occasionally visible. Industry blogs attributed these swings to national-level market repositioning, as well as shifting liquidity conditions across the major exchanges.

BNB experienced periods of high activity when the BNB Chain grew in its global footprint. A strategic road map to 2025 provided the expectation around faster transactions and more integrated AI. Strong trading volumes affected the sentiment, but the token’s performance was subject to significant fluctuation because of changing market direction and relevant compliance factors.

TRX continued steady growth as its network moved ahead on several initiatives. Increased exchange volumes affected market attention while actions by Justin Sun influenced sentiment. European regulatory adjustments had produced new operational constraints. These developments created alternating price movements, but TRX managed to maintain overall year-on-year gains, which put it in the select group of over-performing L1 assets.

Analysts concluded that the difference between these four gainers and the broader declining cohort of L1 highlighted changing investor preferences. They emphasised that stable liquidity, transparent supply structures, and clear technical roadmaps encouraged selective capital inflows. Several reports suggested potential market positioning and liquidation cycles with similar characteristics might occur in the future.

On-Chain Trends Indicate Increased Reliance on Verified Metrics for L1 Markets

Industry watchers continued to monitor on-chain behavior for more confirmation of these trends. They found liquid funds reallocated to assets with predictable volatility profiles. Commentators suggested that this pattern reflected an increasing level of caution across trading desks. They also observed a greater dependence on verifiable metrics as opposed to promotional activity in competitive L1 ecosystems.

Looking forward, analysts anticipate that the four highlighted tokens will encounter some challenges, such as changes in regulation and shifts in exchange dynamics. However, they believe that the structural factors supporting recent gains are still applicable. They predict that liquidity stability will influence the direction of markets as participants adjust exposure during periods of potential liquidation.

The post Short-Term Bitcoin Profits Dominate For The First Time Since 2023 appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Bitcoin is making another attempt to break the downtrend that has kept the crypto king capped since late October. Price is hovering near $91,000 as investors watch a rare shift in market structure unfold.  For the first time in more than two and a half years, short-term holders have surpassed long-term holders in realized profits, creating both opportunities and risks for BTC. A positive reading usually signals long-term holders hold more unrealized gains, while a negative value indicates short-term holders are ahead. In Bitcoin’s case, the difference has dipped into negative territory for the first time since March 2023. This marks 30 months since short-term holders last led in profits. Such dominance raises concerns because short-term holders tend to sell aggressively when volatility increases. Their profit-taking behavior could add pressure on BTC’s price if the broader market weakens, especially during attempts to break the downtrend. OKX founder responds to Moore Threads co-founder 1,500 BTC debt

The post OKX founder responds to Moore Threads co-founder 1,500 BTC debt appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The successful stock market debut of Moore Threads, a company that’s being touted as China’s answer to Nvidia, has been overshadowed by resurfaced allegations that link one of its co-founders to an unpaid cryptocurrency debt that has been lingering for roughly a decade. Shares in the GPU maker skyrocketed to as much as 470% on Thursday following its initial public offering (IPO) on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, valuing the company at around RMB 282 billion ($39.9 billion). However, as the success was being celebrated online, a social media post revived claims that Moore Threads’ co-founder Li Feng borrowed 1,500 Bitcoins from Mingxing “Star” Xu, founder and CEO of cryptocurrency exchange OKX, and never repaid the loan. Crypto past with OKX founder resurfaces In an X post, AB Kuai.Dong referenced Feng’s involvement in a 2017 initial coin offering that raised 5,000 ETH alongside controversial angel investor Xue Manzi. Feng allegedly dismissed the Bitcoin loan, stating, “It was just that Xu Mingxing’s investment in me had failed.” Xu responded to the post with a conciliatory message, writing, “People cannot always remain in the shadow of negative history. Face the future and contribute more positive energy.” He added, “Let the legal system handle the debt issue,” and offered blessings to every entrepreneur. Feng reportedly partnered with Xue Manzi and Li Xiaolai in 2017 to launch Malego Coin, which was later renamed Alpaca Coin MGD. The project reportedly raised approximately 5,000 ETH, but it was around this period that China banned ICOs, allowing regulators to crack down on what they viewed as speculative excess and potential fraud in the cryptocurrency sector. The Bitcoin loan dispute appears separate from the ICO controversy. According to sources familiar with the matter, the original loan agreement was dated December 17, 2014, with an expiry of December 16, 2016.…
