PANews reported on February 4th that Ripple Prime, Ripple's institutional prime brokerage platform, announced the integration of decentralized derivatives exchange Hyperliquid. A Ripple Prime spokesperson stated that this is the first time the platform has directly integrated a DeFi trading venue.

Through this integration, Ripple Prime clients can manage their Hyperliquid on-chain derivatives market positions within the platform, while also centrally managing their risk exposure across other asset classes, including centralized crypto exchanges and traditional markets such as FX and fixed income. Clients will continue to use Ripple Prime as their sole counterparty. By acting as an intermediary between clients and the underlying trading venues, the platform enables unified management of cross-platform positions within a single risk and margin framework.
