Bittensor Price Prediction: TAO Reclaims $300

  • Bittensor trades at $302.45, up 3.06%, clearing all four EMAs and the SAR at $260.24 on the daily chart.
  • Jensen Huang and Chamath Palihapitiya both endorsed Bittensor’s 72B decentralized model training as a landmark technical achievement.
  • Investor Rob Greer called TAO the best value in crypto and AI, citing a $3B market cap against OpenAI’s $850B valuation.

Bittensor is back above $300. The daily chart shows all four EMAs cleared, the SAR flipped to support, and price pressing into the $310 to $320 resistance zone that capped the March 20 spike. The chart is building a case, and the people talking about TAO right now are not anonymous Twitter accounts.

All Four EMAs Cleared For The First Time Since November

TAO price bottomed near $140 in late January after a brutal four-month slide from the $520 peak. Since then, price has carved higher lows and is now trading above the 20-day EMA at $251.10, 50-day at $227.67, 100-day at $236.69, and 200-day at $265.82. The SAR at $260.24 has flipped to support.

The $300 to $320 zone is the last meaningful resistance before open air. It rejected the price twice this month, first on March 20 and again during the recent spike. A daily close above $320 would break the structure that has held since the November highs and put $380 to $400 back in view.

Key levels:

  • SAR support: $260.24
  • 200-day EMA: $265.82
  • Resistance zone: $310 to $320
  • Target above: $380 to $400

The Valuation Argument

Rob Greer’s case on The Rollup is simple and hard to dismiss. Bittensor’s entire decentralized AI infrastructure sits at roughly $3 billion in market cap. OpenAI is at $850 billion. Enterprise AI startups spun out of OpenAI are raising at tens of billions with small teams and no clear competitive moat. If AGI goes open source and runs locally, where does that valuation go?

Greer called TAO the best value in both crypto and AI and said the Bitcoin of AI narrative is what retail will eventually latch onto, particularly as AI begins displacing white-collar jobs at scale. Crypto analyst Michael van de Poppe identified the $220 to $240 zone as the key buy area, which is exactly where price found its floor in late February before the current run began.

Jensen, Chamath, And The Decentralized AI Moment

When NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang called Bittensor’s distributed training of a 72-billion-parameter model a pretty crazy technical accomplishment on the All-In podcast, it was not a casual compliment. Training a model that size without a centralised GPU farm, using commodity internet connections across 70-plus contributors, is genuinely difficult. The fact that it happened on a single subnet out of 128 is the detail that makes people pay attention.

Chamath Palihapitiya pushed Huang on the point specifically. Both men are not known for endorsing projects carelessly. Bittensor co-founder Jacob Steeves has described Bitcoin as the United States and TAO as a state within its universe, framing the two as complementary rather than competing.

Outlook: TAO Price

  • Bullish case: TAO holds above the 200-day EMA at $265.82, closes a daily candle above $320, and the endorsement cycle drives fresh institutional positioning. $380 to $400 is the next target, with the all-time high at $520 in view on any sustained momentum.
  • Bearish case: $310 to $320 resistance holds again, price pulls back below the SAR at $260.24. The 100-day EMA at $236.69 would be the next support, and a drop below $220 would revisit the buy zone analysts flagged last month.
