  • BitradeX's own blog, citing its help-centre contract page, lists 0.02% maker and 0.07% taker on BTC/USDT perpetuals with leverage up to 125x; MEXC's BTCUSDT line is 0% and 0.02%.
  • BitradeX's cheapest case, 144 USDT a month on limit orders, equals MEXC's most expensive case on market orders.
  • The Securities Commission Malaysia added BitradeX to its Investor Alert List on March 16, 2026, and the Alberta Securities Commission added it to its Investment Caution List on April 16, 2026.
  • No CoinGecko exchange page for BitradeX could be found on October 5, 2026, while MEXC scored 9 out of 10 with about 618 million USD in tracked reserves.
  • MEXC carries regulator notices of its own from the Seychelles FSA and Dubai's VARA, set out in the trust section.

BitradeX publishes its futures rates through a contract page in its help centre, and its own blog repeats them.
That makes a direct comparison possible, and the first thing it shows is a 0.07% taker fee on the most traded contract.
This BitradeX vs MEXC comparison prices a month of BTC perpetual trading at both exchanges' published rates.

What Does a Month of BTC Perpetual Trading Cost on BitradeX and MEXC?

504 USDT on BitradeX against 144 USDT on MEXC for 12 round trips of 30,000 USDT a month filled at market, and 144 USDT against 0 USDT when every order rests on the book as a limit order.
Over a year the market-order version is 6,048 USDT against 1,728 USDT.
BitradeX lists BTC/USDT perpetuals at 0.02% maker and 0.07% taker with up to 125x leverage, per its own blog posts of March and April 2026, which cite the contract page in its help centre.
Its fee page explains that VIP levels follow 30-day volume and update daily before 02:00 UTC, but the rates on that page load dynamically and could not be read on October 5, 2026.
MEXC's published BTCUSDT rates, read from its fee page on September 10, 2026, are 0% to open or close with a resting order and 0.02% to take liquidity.

Twelve of them a month come to 504 USDT and 144 USDT.
With limit orders, BitradeX's 0.02% maker makes the round trip 12 USDT, 144 USDT a month, while MEXC's maker leg is free.
Automated orders on MEXC pay 0.06% maker and 0.08% taker, which puts a bot's month at 432 USDT with limit orders and 576 USDT at market, above BitradeX's published rates.

The MEXC View

As the publisher of this page, MEXC lists what BitradeX does well before arguing its own case.
Its BTC/USDT futures rates are on record, its help centre documents contract parameters, deposits and withdrawals, and it offers an automated trading product, AiBot, alongside spot and futures.
Our case is cost and public checks: a taker fee less than a third of BitradeX's, a free maker leg, a Trust Score of 9 and about 618 million USD in tracked reserves.
Neither exchange has a clean regulator column, and the trust section prints both records in the same order.
Everything about MEXC that falls outside a fee comparison is graded in our MEXC review.

What Have Regulators Said About BitradeX?

Two regulators have named it in 2026: the Securities Commission Malaysia on March 16 and the Alberta Securities Commission on April 16.
Both notices are published on the regulators' own sites, and both appear in the alert network run by IOSCO, the global body of securities regulators.
The Malaysian commission's Investor Alert List update of March 16, 2026 adds BitradeX for carrying on unlicensed capital market activities of dealing in securities, and the IOSCO entry names its website and its App Store and Google Play listings.
Alberta's commission states in its Investment Caution List that BitradeX and bitradex.ai are not registered to trade in or advise on securities or derivatives in Alberta, adding that unregistered firms offer no assurance of investor protection.
Both notices concern registration status in those jurisdictions, and neither addresses fees or product quality.
Readers should also confirm the domain, because at least one other site uses the BitradeX name with a different fee table, while the regulators' notices name bitradex.ai.
Our proof of reserves comparison explains why a tracker's reserve figure and an exchange's own claim are not the same thing.

How Do BitradeX and MEXC Compare on Six Dimensions?

Each row applies our review methodology to figures read on October 5, 2026: BitradeX's from its own blog and fee page, MEXC's from CoinGecko.
BitradeX's strongest row is the documentation around its futures product, while MEXC leads on fees, reserves and tracker coverage.

Our lowest futures fees comparison places both exchanges' taker rates among the wider market.

What Do the Trust Checks Show for BitradeX and MEXC?

No CoinGecko exchange page for BitradeX could be found on October 5, 2026, so the only public grades on record are the two regulator notices above.
CoinGecko's MEXC page that day showed a 9 out of 10 score, roughly 618 million USD in reserves and an empty incident log.
Seychelles comes first in MEXC's own file: MEXC Global LTD appears in the FSA's press release of February 14, 2025 as a company that had not applied for a licence.
In its May 26, 2026 release the same regulator went further, identifying MX Global Ltd as the company running MEXC and starting enforcement against it.
The Dubai record is a fine: VARA's notice of June 22, 2026 cites unlicensed service to residents and customer checks that fell short of UAE rules.
MEXC's reserve audit reports sit behind the tracked figure, and no reserve data of any kind was located for BitradeX.

Who Should Choose MEXC, and Who Should Choose BitradeX?

MEXC suits BTC futures traders whatever their order type, and readers who want a tracked score and reserve figure behind the exchange they use.
BitradeX fits traders who want its AiBot product and accept its regulator notices, its unreadable spot schedule and the absence of tracker coverage.
The 0.02% is easy to verify: it shows up in the fee column after one BTCUSDT market order on MEXC.
Readers leaving BitradeX altogether can compare six tracked exchanges in our BitradeX alternatives guide.
US, UK and Australian readers should treat a home-market licence as the first filter and this fee comparison as the second.
Readers in the EU and EEA should take the MiCA line in the closing notice as their starting point.

Risk Warning and Regional Notice

Perpetual futures and leverage amplify both gains and losses, and positions can be liquidated for the full margin amount.
At 500x, a move of roughly 0.2% against a position can trigger liquidation, so high tiers suit only experienced traders with strict risk controls.
