  • The company increased quarterly revenue by 62% and sharply increased profits.
  • The main driver was data centers, with a record of $51.2 billion.
  • A forecast of $65 billion in the next quarter boosted investor confidence.

Nvidia reported Q3 2025 earnings that far exceeded market expectations and boosted optimism in the artificial intelligence sector. The company reported record revenue of $57 billion and made a forecast that indicates further acceleration in demand for AI infrastructure.

The figure jumped 62% year-on-year.

GAAP net income rose to $32 billion — plus 65% year-over-year. Financial performance confirmed solid growth in all key areas. This is especially true for the data center segment, which has become the backbone of the company’s development.

Revenue in the data center segment totaled $51.2 billion, up 25% quarter-on-quarter and 66% year-on-year.

The remaining $5.8 billion came from the gaming business, professional visualization and automotive solutions. Nvidia CFO Colette Kress said the growth was due to increased demand for computing power for generative AI and agent systems.

The company emphasized that the market is seeing infrastructure projects totaling more than 5 million GPUs. At the same time, the Blackwell Ultra lineup is in particular demand.

According to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, sales of these GPUs are “off the charts” and cloud configurations are completely sold out. Previously introduced versions of Blackwell are also showing strong demand.

At the same time, Nvidia is facing constraints in the Chinese market. According to Kress, H20 shipments were below expectations due to geopolitical constraints and increased competition. The company admitted that it was unable to realize some large orders, but will continue dialog with regulators in the US and China.

Despite difficulties in certain markets, Nvidia is forecasting revenue of $65 billion dollars in Q4. That guidance and the report itself likely boosted investor confidence, as the company’s shares rose more than 4% in after-hours trading.

The head of the company emphasized the sustainability of the demand for computing in the industry and the expansion of the technology ecosystem around the world.

Recall, we wrote that Ukraine will create AI-infrastructure with the support of Nvidia.

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…
