Ethena Transfer Frenzy: ENA Hits Record-Breaking 73,274 Moves

On November 20, Ethena recorded its highest-ever daily transfer count. A total of 73,274 $ENA transfers took place, marking a sharp increase from previous daily ranges, which generally stayed between a few thousand and 20,000.

This sudden rise is the most active day recorded in the current data set. The nature of the increase is not fully clear, as there has been no direct link to specific events or announcements. Some users have raised concerns about the source of this activity.

Price Decline Continues Despite Network Surge

While network use has grown, the price of $ENA has not followed the same path. On the day transfer activity spiked, the token traded near $0.25 — close to its lowest level in the displayed chart range. Over the past week, the price has fallen by more than 17%.

This price movement runs opposite to what might be expected when on-chain use is increasing. Despite the record number of transfers, buyers have not pushed the price higher. One trader commented, “It doesn’t match up — transfer counts are booming, but the price keeps slipping.”

Price Approaches Long-Term Demand Zone

$ENA is now moving near a well-defined support area between $0.23 and $0.25. This zone has previously led to upward movements when tested. Past chart patterns show that whenever the price entered this area, it often bounced back over the following days or weeks.

Analysts are watching closely to see whether the zone will provide support again. If it does, a recovery toward the $0.35–$0.45 range may follow. This target area matches earlier reaction highs.

Current Market Snapshot

Today, the staked version of the token, SENA, was trading at $0.23. Over the past 24 hours, it has posted a small gain of 0.9%. Weekly performance, however, remains down, with a 7-day loss of 17.2%. Current trading volume stands at around $558,000.

As price hovers near a historical demand level, traders are watching for signs of strength or further decline. While transfer activity has reached new highs, market behavior suggests caution remains high among participants.

Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC

The post Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson has weighed in on whether the Federal Reserve should make a 25 basis points (bps) Fed rate cut or 50 bps cut. This comes ahead of the Fed decision today at today’s FOMC meeting, with the market pricing in a 25 bps cut. Bitcoin and the broader crypto market are currently trading flat ahead of the rate cut decision. Franklin Templeton CEO Weighs In On Potential FOMC Decision In a CNBC interview, Jenny Johnson said that she expects the Fed to make a 25 bps cut today instead of a 50 bps cut. She acknowledged the jobs data, which suggested that the labor market is weakening. However, she noted that this data is backward-looking, indicating that it doesn’t show the current state of the economy. She alluded to the wage growth, which she remarked is an indication of a robust labor market. She added that retail sales are up and that consumers are still spending, despite inflation being sticky at 3%, which makes a case for why the FOMC should opt against a 50-basis-point Fed rate cut. In line with this, the Franklin Templeton CEO said that she would go with a 25 bps rate cut if she were Jerome Powell. She remarked that the Fed still has the October and December FOMC meetings to make further cuts if the incoming data warrants it. Johnson also asserted that the data show a robust economy. However, she noted that there can’t be an argument for no Fed rate cut since Powell already signaled at Jackson Hole that they were likely to lower interest rates at this meeting due to concerns over a weakening labor market. Notably, her comment comes as experts argue for both sides on why the Fed should make a 25 bps cut or…
