Coalition, the world’s first Active Insurance provider designed to help prevent digital risk before it strikes, announced the appointment of Frank Fumarola as the company’s new Chief Product Officer.
“Our products are central to our ability to deliver Active Insurance to businesses of all sizes, especially as we expand into new markets,” said Joshua Motta, Coalition’s CEO and co-founder. “Frank’s experience in and passion for leading product teams to scale platforms that power positive customer experiences is paramount to Coalition’s mission to protect the unprotected.”
Frank Fumarola joins Coalition most recently from Nubank, where he led a group focused on Global Platforms and Core Systems, overseeing the mobile app, customer experience, and global growth infrastructure used by nearly 130 million customers. Before Nubank, Fumarola was the Vice President of Ads and Shopping Product and Product Marketing at Pinterest.
“I’ve spent my career scaling world-class platforms for mass adoption and growth. Now, I am excited to bring that mindset to help accelerate Coalition’s product vision to improve our policyholders’ resilience,” commented Frank Fumarola. “Digital risk is one of the most critical threats to businesses today, and I believe that Coalition’s combination of proactive security and comprehensive coverage is the right model to help organizations protect against that risk.”
Fumarola will serve as a member of Coalition’s executive team, reporting directly to Motta.
