  • MoneyHero’s Q3 revenue rises 17%, but stock drops 21.25%.
  • Improved margins, AI-driven efficiencies highlight Q3 growth despite losses.
  • Stock drops despite 17% revenue boost, driven by strategic shifts.
  • MoneyHero targets profitability in Q4, despite a 21.25% stock price drop.
  • AI and operational efficiency drive growth, but investor concerns persist.

MoneyHero Limited (MNY) saw its stock price drop by 21.25%, closing at $1.2600, despite reporting a positive shift in revenue and operational efficiency.

MoneyHero Limited Class A Ordinary Shares, MNY

The company’s revenue grew 17% sequentially and 1% year-over-year in the third quarter of 2025, reflecting strong momentum in its business strategy. While its financial performance showed progress, particularly in revenue quality and AI-driven efficiencies, the drop in stock price highlights investor concerns about the company’s long-term profitability.

Improved Revenue Quality and Strategic Shifts

In Q3 2025, MoneyHero’s revenue totaled $21.1 million, marking a 17% increase compared to the previous quarter. This growth came from a strategic shift towards higher-margin markets, with insurance and wealth products growing by 13% and 5%, respectively. These segments now account for 23% of the company’s total revenue, signaling a healthier revenue mix and improved profitability.

The company’s strategic focus on these high-margin verticals is proving effective in expanding margins and reducing volatility in earnings. CEO Rohith Murthy emphasized that this growth was driven by a focus on quality over quantity, particularly in key markets such as Singapore. This shift positions MoneyHero for sustainable growth in the long term as the company moves towards a more diversified and resilient revenue structure.

Operational Efficiencies Drive Margin Expansion

MoneyHero reported significant improvements in its operational efficiency. The company reduced its operating expenses by 13%, reaching $23.9 million in Q3 2025, down from $27.4 million last year. This decrease resulted from more efficient marketing strategies, streamlined technology costs, and lower employee benefit expenses, which are a result of the company’s restructuring in 2024.

MoneyHero’s investment in AI, through Project Odyssey, is beginning to show returns in cost savings and operational improvements. The company reported that automation and AI-driven platforms, such as its Car Insurance SaverBot in Singapore, helped lower customer acquisition costs while improving approval quality for partners. These improvements also led to a leaner cost structure, contributing to an adjusted EBITDA loss of $1.8 million, a 68% year-over-year improvement.

Expectations for Profitability and Continued Growth

MoneyHero is confident that it will achieve positive adjusted EBITDA in Q4 2025, marking its first profitable quarter since its listing. The company’s ongoing cost control measures, along with the shift to higher-margin verticals, are expected to drive this profitability. CFO Danny Leung noted that the benefits of AI-driven transformation and a leaner cost base will be key factors in this improvement.

With a solid cash position of $27.9 million and no significant debt, MoneyHero is well-positioned to invest further in its AI initiatives. The company is focused on scaling its higher-margin insurance, wealth, and personal loans segments. By increasing its number of repeat, multi-product customers, MoneyHero aims to drive long-term growth and profitability, setting the stage for continued success into 2026.

In brief Forward Industries, the largest publicly traded Solana treasury company, filed to raise $4 billion through an at-the-market equity offering to expand its SOL holdings. The company’s stock (FORD) fell 8.2% following the announcement, while the proceeds could more than double the $3.1 billion currently held in Solana treasuries. DeFi Development Corp. also registered a preferred stock offering with the SEC, following similar funding tactics used by Bitcoin treasury companies like MicroStrategy. Forward Industries, the newest and largest publicly traded Solana treasury company, has filed to raise $4 billion through an at-the-market equity offering. For the sake of comparison, this $4 billion raise is nearly the same size as Bitcoin treasury Strategy’s Stride preferred stock raise in July. And it’s double the size of the Strife preferred stock offering the company did in May. The proceeds would be used for working capital; pursuit of its Solana token strategy, and “the purchase of income-generating assets to grow its business,” the company said in a press release. Forward Industries declined to comment to Decrypt on what other income-generating assets it’s considering adding to its balance sheet. As markets opened Wednesday morning, Forward saw its stock price take a dive. The shares, which trade under the FORD ticker on the Nasdaq, dipped to $31.29 before rebounding to $34.28 at the time of writing—marking a 8.2% fall for the session. If the company sells all the shares and spends the bulk of the proceeds on buying Solana, it could more than double the amount of SOL being held in treasuries. At the time of writing, there’s already $3.1 billion in Solana treasuries, according to crypto price aggregator CoinGecko.
