Bitget Introduces Bot Copy Trading With Built-In Profit Sharing

  • Bitget launches Bot Copy Trading, enabling one-click access to automated strategies.
  • Traders can copy spot and futures grid bots hands-free, while creators earn via built-in profit sharing.
  • The feature lowers barriers to automated trading, connecting expert bot strategists with everyday users.

Bitget, the world’s largest Universal Exchange (UEX), has unveiled the Bot Copy Trading feature to its platform. This new feature seeks to make automated trading strategies more accessible to a wider range of users.

The launch connects experienced bot strategists with traders seeking hands-off, algorithm-driven execution. It is supported by transparent performance data and an integrated profit-sharing model.

Simplifying Automated Trading with Copyable Bots

Notably, trading bots are algorithm-based tools that execute predefined buy and sell strategies around the clock. Automated disciplined trading in popular formats, such as grid bots, would be enabled without constant monitoring.

With Bot Copy Trading, Bitget aims to lower the technical barrier to entry by enabling users to deploy these strategies with minimal setup.

New Opportunities for Bot Strategy Creators

On the creator side, approved Bot Elite Traders can publish their custom bot strategies and set profit-sharing rates ranging from 0% to 30%. High-performing bots gain enhanced visibility through rankings and featured placements, helping top strategies stand out.

To support wider adoption, Bitget also provides one-click sharing links and QR codes. Creators can also distribute their strategies across social platform, and trading communities.

One-Click Copy Trading for Users

For users, the new Copy Trading feature allows eligible bots to be copied with a single click, automatically syncing parameters from the creator. Traders can monitor detailed performance metrics, review profit distributions, and stop copying at any time.

Revenue sharing is handled automatically at the end of each trading session, ensuring transparency and ease of use.

The initial rollout supports spot grid and futures grid bots, with Bitget confirming that additional bot types will be introduced in future updates.

With Bot Copy Trading, Bitget continues to expand its automated trading ecosystem, aiming to bridge the gap between professional strategy builders and everyday traders seeking efficient, rules-based trading solutions.

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…
