5 Potential Payment-Focused Cryptos to Watch in 2025, Featuring Digitap

For years, XRP promised to change global payments. It had the right goal — fast, low-cost money transfers across borders. But real banking adoption never fully arrived. Many institutions stayed cautious, and most users never saw the benefits. The idea was good, but the results fell short of expectations.

Now, a new set of projects is building on the same dream with better tools, stronger utility, and live products that work today. The five projects below made this list because they check three simple boxes: a clear purpose, a working use case, and the potential to 100x in value as the global demand for faster, smarter payments grows.

  1. Digitap ($TAP) – The live omni-bank app connecting crypto and cash in one place.
  2. Remittix (RTX) – A fast-growing PayFi token focused on global remittances.
  3. Stellar (XLM) – A proven payments network with broad adoption.
  4. Plasma (XPL) – A zero-fee blockchain for stablecoin transfers.
  5. Quant (QNT) – An enterprise-grade solution linking banks and blockchains.

1. Digitap: The $1.2M Presale That’s Redefining Digital Banking

The idea of truly free money movement has existed for years, yet no system has fully achieved it. Digitap is bringing that idea to life. It creates a space where borders, waiting times, and the divide between crypto and cash disappear.

The app already lets users send and spend any currency — digital or fiat — instantly. From freelancers getting paid overseas to travelers shopping abroad, everything works from one simple account.

Digitap’s strength lies in what already exists today. The app is live on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. It enables users to hold, send, and spend both cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies with ease. The Digitap Visa card connects directly to user balances, so anyone can pay online, tap in stores, or withdraw cash at ATMs.

Half of the platform’s profits go toward buybacks and burns, which helps to reduce supply and raise token value. The $TAP presale has already crossed $1.2 million, with tokens priced at $0.0268, and set to rise to $0.0297 in the next round, giving early holders a chance for a huge upside.

If Digitap gains large-scale adoption, it could redefine how people handle money. Analysts see a clear path to a 100x return, as more users start treating it as their all-in-one banking and crypto platform. It delivers what XRP promised, but faster, easier, and already live.

2. Remittix (RTX): The PayFi Token That Could Outrun XRP

Global remittance flows amount to around US$700-900 billion annually, and Remittix targets a portion of that market. It targets users who want to send money across borders without losing a big part of it in fees. The project focuses on what many call “PayFi” — a system that combines the speed of crypto with the stability of traditional finance.

The ongoing presale has drawn strong community interest, which reflects growing belief in its real-world use case and long-term vision. The team aims to make global payments simple enough for anyone with a smartphone. If RTX delivers, it could become a key tool for workers and businesses sending money around the world.

3. Stellar (XLM): The Reliable Old Guard of Payment Tokens

Stellar has been around for years and continues to be one of the most used payment networks in crypto. It was created to help banks, remittance services, and individuals move funds cheaply and fast. Many smaller financial firms already use it, and it has a strong reputation for reliability.

The XLM token powers these transactions and helps keep fees low. It currently trades at around $0.30, holding steady through market swings thanks to its established use and loyal community. Even though it has grown slowly, Stellar’s consistent development keeps it relevant. It might not offer the biggest short-term gains, but it remains a stable player in the payment token space.

4. Plasma (XPL): The Chain That Sends Stablecoins for Free

Plasma is a newer project aiming to make stablecoin transfers free and instant. It focuses on real use cases like sending USD₮ and other stablecoins with no fees. Built as a high-speed Layer-1 network, it handles large transaction volumes without slowing down.

The XPL token keeps the network running and plays a key role in its security. The project is still in its early stages, but more people are starting to notice it for one simple reason — it promises fast, free payments. Many see it as a fresh alternative to older blockchains that still charge high fees.

If more users and platforms start using it, Plasma could grow into one of the main hubs for moving stablecoins across the world.

5. Quant (QNT): The Tech Giant of Blockchain Infrastructure

Quant takes a different path. Instead of replacing banks, it connects them. Its technology, called Overledger, allows different blockchains and financial systems to talk to each other. That means a transaction from one network can settle on another instantly.

QNT is the token used to access these services and run enterprise-level applications. It currently trades around $80, which shows stable value supported by ongoing institutional interest. The project targets large institutions and already has partnerships across finance and tech. It is less about individual payments and more about the infrastructure that powers them.

What Is the Potential Crypto to Buy Now?

All five projects share one goal — making money faster and smarter across borders. But only one already works in people’s hands. Digitap combines the simplicity of banking with the freedom of crypto, something XRP never fully achieved. With a live app, an active Visa card, and a fast-moving presale already attracting millions, it stands out as the clear front-runner.

As the world looks for real solutions, Digitap is no longer just an idea. It is a working omni-bank built for everyday users, with the power to make global money truly borderless.

BlackRock boosts AI and US equity exposure in $185 billion models

The post BlackRock boosts AI and US equity exposure in $185 billion models appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. BlackRock is steering $185 billion worth of model portfolios deeper into US stocks and artificial intelligence. The decision came this week as the asset manager adjusted its entire model suite, increasing its equity allocation and dumping exposure to international developed markets. The firm now sits 2% overweight on stocks, after money moved between several of its biggest exchange-traded funds. This wasn’t a slow shuffle. Billions flowed across multiple ETFs on Tuesday as BlackRock executed the realignment. The iShares S&P 100 ETF (OEF) alone brought in $3.4 billion, the largest single-day haul in its history. The iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV) collected $2.3 billion, while the iShares US Equity Factor Rotation Active ETF (DYNF) added nearly $2 billion. The rebalancing triggered swift inflows and outflows that realigned investor exposure on the back of performance data and macroeconomic outlooks. BlackRock raises equities on strong US earnings The model updates come as BlackRock backs the rally in American stocks, fueled by strong earnings and optimism around rate cuts. In an investment letter obtained by Bloomberg, the firm said US companies have delivered 11% earnings growth since the third quarter of 2024. Meanwhile, earnings across other developed markets barely touched 2%. That gap helped push the decision to drop international holdings in favor of American ones. Michael Gates, lead portfolio manager for BlackRock’s Target Allocation ETF model portfolio suite, said the US market is the only one showing consistency in sales growth, profit delivery, and revisions in analyst forecasts. “The US equity market continues to stand alone in terms of earnings delivery, sales growth and sustainable trends in analyst estimates and revisions,” Michael wrote. He added that non-US developed markets lagged far behind, especially when it came to sales. This week’s changes reflect that position. The move was made ahead of the Federal…
