Changelly, an instant crypto exchange platform and a trusted API provider serving secure crypto-to-crypto exchange and fiat on-ramp APIs, has announced its strategic partnership with ONTO Wallet, a Web3-based all-in-one option for securely managing identities, data, and digital assets. The hidden aim of this groundbreaking partnership is to ensure cross-chain swaps directly into the wallet experience with full protection.

Changelly is also among the crypto exchange platforms that are using their advanced features and abilities for the welfare of users. On the other hand, ONTO Wallet has also made much successful collaboration with other platforms for the upgrade of users’ financial status. So, this partnership plays a vital role in the seamless swaps of crypto assets inside the secure wallet without needing any external formalities.

Empowering ONTO Users with Secure In-Wallet Swaps Across 185 Blockchains

This integration’s impacts are going to start from January 19 to January 29, 2025, along with a launch campaign. In addition, this partnership is offering 5400 $USDT in total rewards to ONTO users through legal trading via Changelly.  In this, there is a special edge for ONTO’s users to seamlessly bridge digital assets directly inside the wallet instead of searching any third party for this conversion.

Moreover, this swap has a convincing figure of support of more than 1000 cryptocurrencies across 185 blockchains. This will help to expand users’ access to a wide range of distance learning and networks from a unified source.  The important thing about this function is that users have full control over their funds, in accordance with ONTO Wallet’s self-custodial framework.

Changelly and ONTO Wallet Redefine Secure, Reward-Driven Web3 Trading

The unification of Changelly and ONTO Wallet is much more beneficial for users all around the world in terms of protecting their digital assets securely.  To catch the attention of more users, both platforms have introduced a rewards system for both active traders and everyday users. Users can participate in the reward system and will get a reward on the basis of their ranked position by total trading volume during the campaign period.

The Top 10 participants finalized by Decentralized identity (DID) will get a chance with the equal distribution of 5000 $USDT reward pool among them. Furthermore, users who are able to reach a minimum trading volume of 100 USDT will be automatically added in lucky draw. So at the end selected 20 will be able to get 20 USDT as a reward.

At this spot, John Khandjian, Chief Growth Officer at Changelly, expressed his vision. He said, “Most users don’t want to jump between platforms just to move assets. This integration is about reducing those steps and letting swaps happen where users already manage their crypto: inside their wallet, on their own terms.”

In response, Geoff Richards, Chief Communications Officer, ONTO Wallet, also shared his thoughts. He said, “This integration is about making every day Web3 actions simpler without changing how users manage control. By bridging cross-chain swaps directly into the wallet, we’re reducing friction while keeping self-custody and security exactly where they belong: with the users.”

Which Altcoins Stand to Gain from the SEC’s New ETF Listing Standards?

On Wednesday, the US SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) took a landmark step in crypto regulation, approving generic listing standards for spot crypto ETFs (exchange-traded funds). This new framework eliminates the case-by-case 19b-4 approval process, streamlining the path for multiple digital asset ETFs to enter the market in the coming weeks. Grayscale’s Multi-Crypto Milestone Grayscale secured a first-mover advantage as its Digital Large Cap Fund (GDLC) received approval under the new listing standards. Products that will be traded under the ticker GDLC include Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Solana, and Cardano. “Grayscale Digital Large Cap Fund $GDLC was just approved for trading along with the Generic Listing Standards. The Grayscale team is working expeditiously to bring the FIRST multi-crypto asset ETP to market with Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Solana, and Cardano,” wrote Grayscale CEO Peter Mintzberg. The approval marks the US’s first diversified, multi-crypto ETP, signaling a shift toward broader portfolio products rather than single-asset ETFs. Bloomberg’s Eric Balchunas explained that around 12–15 cryptocurrencies now qualify for spot ETF consideration. However, this is contingent on the altcoins having established futures trading on Coinbase Derivatives for at least six months. This includes well-known altcoins like Dogecoin (DOGE), Litecoin (LTC), and Chainlink (LINK), alongside the majors already included in Grayscale’s GDLC. Altcoins in the Spotlight Amid New Era of ETF Eligibility Several assets have already met the key condition, regulated futures trading on Coinbase. For example, Solana futures launched in February 2024, making the token eligible as of August 19. “The SEC approved generic ETF listing standards. Assets with a regulated futures contract trading for 6 months qualify for a spot ETF. Solana met this criterion on Aug 19, 6 months after SOL futures launched on Coinbase Derivatives,” SolanaFloor indicated. Crypto investors and communities also identified which tokens stand to gain. Chainlink community liaison Zach Rynes highlighted that LINK could soon see its own ETF. He noted that both Bitwise and Grayscale have already filed applications. Meanwhile, the Litecoin Foundation indicated that the new standards provide the regulatory framework for LTC to be listed on US exchanges. Hedera is also in the spotlight, with digital asset investor Mark anticipating an HBAR ETF. Market observers see the decision as a potential turning point for broader adoption, bringing the much-needed clarity and accessibility for investors. At the same time, it boosts confidence in the market’s maturity. The general sentiment is that with the SEC’s approval, the next phase of crypto ETFs is no longer a question of ‘if,’ but ‘when.’ The shift to generic listing standards could expand the US-listed digital asset ETFs roster beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum. Such a move would usher in new investment vehicles covering a dozen or more altcoins. This represents the clearest path yet toward mainstream, regulated access to diversified crypto exposure. More importantly, it comes without the friction of direct custody. “We’re gonna be off to the races in a matter of weeks,” ETF analyst James Seyffart quipped.
