MORPHO Technical Analysis Jan 24

Today’s short-term outlook and key levels to watch

Short-Term Market Outlook

MORPHO is trading at 1.19 USD as of January 24, 2026, showing a slight 0.42% increase over the last 24 hours. The intraday range remained limited between 1.18 – 1.20 USD, with volume at low levels of 2.34 million USD. The short-term trend continues sideways, with price positioned below EMA20 (1.20 USD), giving a mild bear signal. RSI at 44.10 is in the neutral zone, MACD histogram is positive but overall momentum is weak. The Supertrend indicator gives a bearish signal at 1.25 USD resistance. Low volatility is expected over the next 24-48 hours, but rapid movements are possible if critical levels are broken. In multi-timeframe (MTF) analysis, 10 strong levels were identified across 1D/3D/1W timeframes: 1 support/3 resistance in 1D, 3 resistance in 3D, mainly 2 support/3 resistance in 1W. No news flow, so technical levels will take center stage. High risk prevails for short-term trades, stop-loss is mandatory.

Intraday Critical Levels

Nearby Support Zones

Closest support at 1.1812 USD (score: 61/100), just below intraday lows and critical for quick tests. If broken, the next at 1.0750 USD (score: 60/100) comes into play, this level is one of the 1W timeframe supports. These supports are in a narrow range (about 10 cents difference), ideal for scalping but invalidation can be quick – downside accelerates on close below 1.1812.

Nearby Resistance Zones

Most critical resistance at 1.2117 USD (score: 82/100), main barrier to breaking above EMA20. Immediately below it 1.1947 USD (score: 73/100) and 1.2221 USD (score: 67/100) follow. These levels overlap with Supertrend, volume increase is essential for breakout. Narrow resistance cluster (1.1947-1.2221) offers momentum trading opportunities, but false breakout risk is high.

Momentum and Speed Analysis

Short-term momentum is mixed: RSI 44.10 neutral, close to oversold but momentum at zero. MACD histogram gives a mild bull signal with positive bars, but no signal line crossover. Supertrend bearish, speed analysis shows low volatility (intraday range 1.7%). Sideways consolidation dominates on the 4-hour chart, acceleration requires break above 1.1947 or below 1.1812. Volume is low, so watch for sudden spikes – BTC movements could be triggers. For intraday scalping, focus on the 1.18-1.20 zone, target 1:2 risk/reward ratio.

Short-Term Scenarios

Upside Scenario

Close above 1.1947 USD accelerates, targets extend to 1.2117 and 1.2221 (potential 2-3% gain). Strong trigger: 1.2117 breakout + volume increase, upside target 1.2875 USD (score 20). Invalidation: Close below 1.1812. This scenario is supported by MACD bull divergence, but sustained hold above EMA20 is required. 5%+ upside possible within 24-48 hours if BTC remains stable.

Downside Scenario

Break below 1.1812 USD triggers downside, quick target 1.1155 USD (score 24, 6% drop). Trigger: Intraday low break + RSI below 40. Supertrend bearish aligned, invalidation above 1.1947. Volatility increases on sideways break, suitable for short scalping but accelerates with BTC drop. Risk: Sudden rebounds.

Bitcoin Correlation

BTC sideways at 89,373 USD (-0.63%), Supertrend bearish – caution for altcoins. MORPHO highly correlated to BTC, if BTC loses 88,935 USD support, pressure on MORPHO to 1.1812 increases. BTC resistances 89,684 / 90,775 USD; if broken, MORPHO upside scenario strengthens. BTC dominance increase crushes alts, key BTC levels: Support 88,935 / 87,635, Resistance 89,684. If BTC stable, MORPHO can be traded locally, short bias on drop.

Daily Summary and Watch Points

Today, watch MORPHO between 1.1812 support and 1.2117 resistance. Quick invalidation on breaks: Above 1.1947+, below 1.1812-. Volume and BTC movements take priority. Short-term high risk: Positions with 1-2% capital, use tight stop-loss. For more details, check MORPHO Spot Analysis or MORPHO Futures Analysis. Capital management is essential, keep losses limited.

UK crypto holders brace for FCA’s expanded regulatory reach

The post UK crypto holders brace for FCA’s expanded regulatory reach appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. British crypto holders may soon face a very different landscape as the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) moves to expand its regulatory reach in the industry. A new consultation paper outlines how the watchdog intends to apply its rulebook to crypto firms, shaping everything from asset safeguarding to trading platform operation. According to the financial regulator, these proposals would translate into clearer protections for retail investors and stricter oversight of crypto firms. UK FCA plans Until now, UK crypto users mostly encountered the FCA through rules on promotions and anti-money laundering checks. The consultation paper goes much further. It proposes direct oversight of stablecoin issuers, custodians, and crypto-asset trading platforms (CATPs). For investors, that means the wallets, exchanges, and coins they rely on could soon be subject to the same governance and resilience standards as traditional financial institutions. The regulator has also clarified that firms need official authorization before serving customers. This condition should, in theory, reduce the risk of sudden platform failures or unclear accountability. David Geale, the FCA’s executive director of payments and digital finance, said the proposals are designed to strike a balance between innovation and protection. He explained: “We want to develop a sustainable and competitive crypto sector – balancing innovation, market integrity and trust.” Geale noted that while the rules will not eliminate investment risks, they will create consistent standards, helping consumers understand what to expect from registered firms. Why does this matter for crypto holders? The UK regulatory framework shift would provide safer custody of assets, better disclosure of risks, and clearer recourse if something goes wrong. However, the regulator was also frank in its submission, arguing that no rulebook can eliminate the volatility or inherent risks of holding digital assets. Instead, the focus is on ensuring that when consumers choose to invest, they do…
