Former Trump biographer Michael Wolff is not sweating the president's potential lawsuit against him, arguing during a recent podcast episode that the president would be too afraid of the questions he would get asked about Jeffrey Epstein while under oath.

Wolff is a veteran reporter and author best known for Fire & Fury, a 2018 book detailing the chaotic behind-the-scenes drama of the first Trump administration. Over the weekend, Trump accused Wolff of conspiring against him with Epstein, the deceased sex trafficker with whom Trump maintained a years-long friendship, telling reporters on Saturday that the writer had wanted "to do harm to me politically or else."

"So we’ll probably sue Wolff on that," Trump said.

The president later doubled down on the threat of a lawsuit in a Truth Social post from Monday.

“Epstein and a SLEAZEBAG lying ‘author’ named Michael Wolff, conspired in order to damage me and/or my Presidency,” the post read. "So much for the Radical Left’s hope against hope, some of whom I’ll be suing.”

During the latest episode of his Daily Beast podcast, "Inside Trump's Head," Wolff dismissed the president's latest threat against, saying the likelihood of him actually being sued was "remote," as Trump would want to avoid going through the discovery process, arguing that "he obviously has so much to hide."

"What is he going to do?" Wolff asked. "Is he going to sit for a deposition? Is he going to answer all of the questions that then I would have the right to ask him about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein?”

Wolff went further, detailing the sort of questions he would ask Trump during such a legal fight, including questions about his travel history with Epstein, as well as the claim from the most recent trove of documents that the sex trafficker introduced him to his current wife, First Lady Melania Trump.

"In the release of these documents by the federal government, there is a document here that says Jeffrey Epstein introduced you to your wife," Wolff said, describing the sort of question he would ask. "Do you want to discuss that, Mr. Trump?"

Wolff also said that Trump has threatened to sue him numerous times over the last decade without following through. Co-host Joanna Coles suggested that Trump views the mere process of initiating a lawsuit to be a punishment for his enemies, even if they do not pan out for him.

“Yes,” Wolff said. "Although for me it would not be irritation.”

Cryptos Signal Divergence Ahead of Fed Rate Decision

Cryptos Signal Divergence Ahead of Fed Rate Decision

The post Cryptos Signal Divergence Ahead of Fed Rate Decision appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Crypto assets send conflicting signals ahead of the Federal Reserve’s September rate decision. On-chain data reveals a clear decrease in Bitcoin and Ethereum flowing into centralized exchanges, but a sharp increase in altcoin inflows. The findings come from a Tuesday report by CryptoQuant, an on-chain data platform. The firm’s data shows a stark divergence in coin volume, which has been observed in movements onto centralized exchanges over the past few weeks. Bitcoin and Ethereum Inflows Drop to Multi-Month Lows Sponsored Sponsored Bitcoin has seen a dramatic drop in exchange inflows, with the 7-day moving average plummeting to 25,000 BTC, its lowest level in over a year. The average deposit per transaction has fallen to 0.57 BTC as of September. This suggests that smaller retail investors, rather than large-scale whales, are responsible for the recent cash-outs. Ethereum is showing a similar trend, with its daily exchange inflows decreasing to a two-month low. CryptoQuant reported that the 7-day moving average for ETH deposits on exchanges is around 783,000 ETH, the lowest in two months. Other Altcoins See Renewed Selling Pressure In contrast, other altcoin deposit activity on exchanges has surged. The number of altcoin deposit transactions on centralized exchanges was quite steady in May and June of this year, maintaining a 7-day moving average of about 20,000 to 30,000. Recently, however, that figure has jumped to 55,000 transactions. Altcoins: Exchange Inflow Transaction Count. Source: CryptoQuant CryptoQuant projects that altcoins, given their increased inflow activity, could face relatively higher selling pressure compared to BTC and ETH. Meanwhile, the balance of stablecoins on exchanges—a key indicator of potential buying pressure—has increased significantly. The report notes that the exchange USDT balance, around $273 million in April, grew to $379 million by August 31, marking a new yearly high. CryptoQuant interprets this surge as a reflection of…
