Lisa Beats Her Blackpink Bandmate Rosé’s Historic Chart Record

For the moment, much of the excitement around Blackpink’s members and their solo careers rests on Rosé’s shoulders. The singer recently made history as one of the only K-pop musicians to score a Grammy nomination. Her single “Apt.,” a team-up with Bruno Mars, is currently in the running for both Record and Song of the Year — two of the biggest prizes — as well as Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

While Rosé may have a shot at claiming the most prestigious prize in music, several of her group mates make history on the Billboard tallies. Jisoo scores her first solo win on one radio ranking, while Lisa resets an all-time record on another airplay list, even managing to beat Rosé’s top showing.

“Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)” Extends Its Historic Radio Run

Lisa’s only hit in the United States at the moment remains “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me).” The track is comfortable once again at No. 16 on the Adult Contemporary list, where it has now lived for 24 frames.

Lisa Passes Rosé’s Radio Record

Last time around, “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)” matched Rosé’s “Apt.” for the longest run by any K-pop artist in the history of the Adult Contemporary tally. Now, as it snags its twenty-fourth turn on one of Billboard’s three pop radio rankings, the single becomes the longest-charting win ever by any musical star connected to that genre.

The Longest-Running K-Pop Songs on the Adult Contemporary Chart

Only four tracks by K-pop musicians have spent 20 weeks or more on the Adult Contemporary list. In addition to both “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)” and “Apt.,” a pair of tunes credited to BTS stalled at exactly 20 frames. The first to do so was the septet’s own “Dynamite,” and then the following year “My Universe,” a collaboration with Coldplay, also debuted and held on for just as long.

The Highest-Peaking K-Pop Songs on the Adult Contemporary Chart

This frame, “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)” is steady at No. 16 on the Adult Contemporary ranking. A short time ago, the tune climbed to No. 15 and then immediately stepped back.

“Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)” was tied with four other releases by K-pop stars as the highest-rising smash of all time when it lifted to No. 16. It was on the same level as Lisa’s own “Priceless” with Maroon 5, as well as “Dynamite,” “My Universe,” and “Apt.”

For just one moment when it peaked at No. 15, “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)” reigned as the biggest success story among K-pop artists on the Adult Contemporary chart… but almost as quickly as it asserted itself in that special manner, “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters danced its way to the same spot, where it currently resides.

Lisa’s “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)” Will Likely Live on for Months

The Adult Contemporary chart is the shortest of the trio of pop radio rankings published by Billboard every frame. It features just 30 spaces – compared to the 40 that make up both the Pop Airplay and Adult Pop Airplay rosters – so that means that “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)” is comfortable almost exactly in the middle at present.

Since the track already claims the longest run of all time, and it still has a long way to fall, it seems like it will extend its lead for at least another few frames, if not months, as the roster is known to move slower than most other radio rankings published by the company.

Lisa’s Solo Singles All Became Hits in the U.S.

“Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)” was chosen as the third single from Lisa’s debut solo album Alter Ego. She pushed the song in October 2024, which makes its current placement on the Adult Contemporary ranking that much more impressive. “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)” was preceded by “Rockstar” and “New Woman” with Rosalía, and then followed later by “Born Again” with Doja Cat and Raye and “Fxck Up the World” alongside hip-hop superstar Future.

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…
