XRPL Expands Its Compliance Capabilities Through Brale’s $RLUSD Integration

  • Brale’s launch of USD-pegged stablecoins on XRPL comes with built-in compliance features like authorized trust lines and freeze controls.
  • The XRP Ledger continues to attract institutional participation in 2025, driven by innovations such as RLUSD stablecoin issuance, real-world asset tokenization, etc.

Stablecoin infrastructure platform Brale has announced that regulated USD-backed stablecoins are now live on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). This marks a major step toward integrating compliant digital assets into Ripple’s payment ecosystem. The latest development comes as Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse recently predicted that trillions of dollars will be moving to XRPL, as mentioned in our previous report.

Brale Launches Regulated Stablecoins on XRP Ledger (XRPL)

The recent launch of the regulated USD stablecoin on XRP Ledger will allow businesses to issue and manage stablecoins directly on the XRPL using Brale’s API. According to the company, the integration brings “compliant, programmable digital dollars” to one of crypto’s most established payment networks, supported by RippleXDev.

Thus, by leveraging the Brale platform, institutions will be able to issue USD-backed stablecoins within minutes. Moreover, they could also move funds seamlessly between traditional bank accounts and blockchain networks. Furthermore, these institutions can settle transactions using Ripple USD (RLUSD) across both XRPL and Ethereum.

Brale highlighted that XRPL’s built-in compliance tools include authorized trust lines, freeze controls, and credentialing. Besides, it also makes it easier for regulated entities to manage digital assets securely and at scale.

The company emphasized that the collaboration between Brale, XRPL, and RLUSD offers global businesses a unified solution to issue, settle, and transfer stablecoins with a single API call. This will further help to expand the reach of digital dollars across the fintech and enterprise landscape. Speaking on this development, the Ripple Developer team noted:

Ripple’s XRP Ledger Registers Strong Growth in 2025

In 2025, the XRP Ledger (XRPL) has recorded significant advancements, driven by the introduction of Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin, increased tokenization of real-world assets, and progress in smart contract development. Although overall user activity has moderated, XRPL continues to draw strong institutional interest and broaden its product ecosystem, reported CNF.

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse highlighted the efficiency of XRP-based settlements, noting that transactions on the XRP Ledger can settle in just three seconds, even for trillions of dollars in daily volume. He also pointed out that this speed positions XRP as a strong candidate for real-world asset (RWA) tokenization.
