Matapos ang nakaka-tense na girian at ang biglaang two-week ceasefire sa pagitan ng US at Iran nitong Abril 8, 2026, maugong ang balitang muling lalanding ang Air Force One sa lupang Pilipinas para sa isang makasaysayang pagbisita ni US President Donald Trump!”

Several users in the comment section appear to be accepting the claim as true, with some Filipinos entertaining expectations of increased job opportunities linked to the alleged visit of Trump. Others posted messages of gratitude and welcome, congratulating the US President and expressing support for his supposed arrival in the Philippines.

The facts: There is no official confirmation from the White House nor the Philippine government that Trump is scheduled to visit the Philippines. There are no credible reports indicating that Air Force One will land in the country following the reported US-Iran ceasefire in April 2026, either.

While the two-week ceasefire between the US and Iran was announced on April 7, 2026, reportedly brokered by Pakistan amid broader discussions involving the Strait of Hormuz and nuclear-related issues, no official source has linked this development to any planned presidential trip to the Philippines.

US-Iran ceasefire: The ceasefire temporarily halted 40 days of escalating US-Israeli strikes on Iran that had heightened regional tensions.
