This year’s Labor Day just wrapped up, but for many recent graduates, the transition into the workforce has increasingly become an exhausting loop of uncertainty. In this episode of Yappler, Rappler multimedia reporter Eirene Manatlao and community growth and development specialist Aidan Bernales dive into the stories shared by recent graduates in the Rappler community. The range of experiences is varied but all harsh: from being told by employers they have “proven nothing” to secure a role to navigating the bizarre experience of being interviewed by a robot.
How has artificial intelligence complicated application processes? What does being “funemployed” entail? Are Latin honors actually important when it comes to job-hunting?
