  • The contract is roughly nine times Swarmer’s trailing twelve-month revenue of $0.31M.

Swarmer, Inc. (SWMR) landed a $2.86 million contract from Meta Bureau LLC for more than 16,000 software licenses to be deployed on SkyKnight quadcopter bombers and other unmanned aerial vehicles.

The deal was awarded to Swarmer’s Estonian subsidiary, Swarmer Estonia OÜ, and was announced Wednesday morning.

SWMR stock had already climbed nearly 25% over the past week heading into the announcement, reaching $36.04. InvestingPro analysis, however, flags the stock as overvalued relative to its fair value estimate.

The contract is a big number relative to Swarmer’s size. The $2.86M deal is approximately nine times the company’s trailing twelve-month revenue of $0.31M.

The licenses cover the full Swarmer Platform, which includes its operating system, artificial intelligence, and user interface. There are two separate allocations for the complete platform and one for the OS only.

The OS-only license can be upgraded to the full stack via an over-the-air update, adding Swarmer AI and Swarmer UI without needing a hardware change.

Meta Bureau also holds an option to upgrade certain licenses for an additional $10.4 million. If exercised in full, total contract value would reach roughly $13.26 million.

Serhii Kupriienko, Global CEO of Swarmer, said the company looks forward to receiving “additional real-world mission data to further enhance our models and refine the software’s performance.”

Real-World Combat Deployment

Swarmer’s technology has been deployed in combat operations in Ukraine since April 2024 and has supported more than 100,000 combat missions, according to the company.

The company’s software is vendor-agnostic, meaning it can be deployed across different drone platforms rather than being locked to a single hardware manufacturer.

Swarmer is headquartered in Austin, Texas, with operations in Ukraine, Poland, and Estonia.

Recent Deals and Analyst Coverage

Beyond the Meta Bureau contract, Swarmer recently formed a partnership with X-Drone, Norda Dynamics, and Kara Dag Technologies to develop an integrated counter-drone system.

Its Estonian subsidiary also signed a memorandum of understanding with HIMERA to add jam-resistant communications technology to its software platform.

Lucid Capital Markets initiated coverage on SWMR with a Buy rating and a $60 price target, citing the company’s combat experience and rapid business scaling.

Analysts tracked by InvestingPro project 28% sales growth for Swarmer this year.

Mykhailo Nestor was recently appointed as Chief Product Officer, taking charge of product strategy and development.
