Bitget, the biggest Universal Exchange (UEX), has become the earliest to integrate Morph Chain, a popular blockchain network. The integration of Morph Chain into Bitget aims to bolster its on-chain network. As mentioned in Bitget’s official press release, the integration denotes a key milestone to strengthen its position in leading the blockchain innovation. Hence, with the initiative, the Bitget consumers can trade all digital assets existing within the Morph ecosystem via $USDT from spot wallets.

Bitget Integrates Morph Chain, Permits Users to Trade Exclusive Assets Directly Using $USDT

By integrating Morph Chain, Bitget is boosting the on-chain ecosystem thereof. This includes the seamless expansion of the multi-chain capabilities of Bitget. At the same time, the integration also simplifies access to advanced blockchain payments. As a result of this, the consumers can directly trade the Morph-based assets directly from Bitget spot wallets via $USDT without leaving the platform.

Apart from that, Morph Chain works as a next-gen L2 blockchain to provide a worldwide on-chain payment settlement layer. Back in September, it obtained a significant support from Bitget as the crypto exchange transferred up to 440M $BGB tokens while making $BGB its native token. The respective partnership provided the basis for borderless, programmable, and efficient payments via stablecoins. The initiative played a crucial role in linking the ecosystem of Morph with the infrastructure of Bitget.

In addition to this, this integration focuses on fulfilling the shared vision of both entities to provide secure and fast worldwide transfers. While discussing this development, Bitget’s CEO, Gracy Chen, declared it a major move in connecting accessibility and technology. Thus, the move brings blockchain payments within the reach of the everyday users. Keeping this in view, this aligns perfectly with the UEX framework of Bitget, which merges the on-chain trading, AI-led tools, and centralized exchange infrastructure within a single unified platform.

Expanding On-Chain Ecosystem and Accelerating Web3’s Mainstream Adoption

According to Bitget, the collaboration advances its product offerings and reaffirms its objective to advance mainstream adoption of Web3. Additionally, with features such as gas-free cross-platform trading, AI-driven trading tools, and Proof of Reserves, Bitget keeps prioritizing user empowerment, security, and transparency. Ultimately, Bitget is widening its on-chain ecosystem while combining real-world payments with digital asset trading.

UK crypto holders brace for FCA’s expanded regulatory reach

The post UK crypto holders brace for FCA’s expanded regulatory reach appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. British crypto holders may soon face a very different landscape as the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) moves to expand its regulatory reach in the industry. A new consultation paper outlines how the watchdog intends to apply its rulebook to crypto firms, shaping everything from asset safeguarding to trading platform operation. According to the financial regulator, these proposals would translate into clearer protections for retail investors and stricter oversight of crypto firms. UK FCA plans Until now, UK crypto users mostly encountered the FCA through rules on promotions and anti-money laundering checks. The consultation paper goes much further. It proposes direct oversight of stablecoin issuers, custodians, and crypto-asset trading platforms (CATPs). For investors, that means the wallets, exchanges, and coins they rely on could soon be subject to the same governance and resilience standards as traditional financial institutions. The regulator has also clarified that firms need official authorization before serving customers. This condition should, in theory, reduce the risk of sudden platform failures or unclear accountability. David Geale, the FCA’s executive director of payments and digital finance, said the proposals are designed to strike a balance between innovation and protection. He explained: “We want to develop a sustainable and competitive crypto sector – balancing innovation, market integrity and trust.” Geale noted that while the rules will not eliminate investment risks, they will create consistent standards, helping consumers understand what to expect from registered firms. Why does this matter for crypto holders? The UK regulatory framework shift would provide safer custody of assets, better disclosure of risks, and clearer recourse if something goes wrong. However, the regulator was also frank in its submission, arguing that no rulebook can eliminate the volatility or inherent risks of holding digital assets. Instead, the focus is on ensuring that when consumers choose to invest, they do…
