Binance to Shift UUSD Perpetual Funding to 4-Hour Settlements from Sept 1, 2025 if Hourly Rate Is 0.002% or Less for 36 Consecutive Periods

Binance announced that, effective 08:00 on September 1, 2025 (UTC+8), the hourly-settled funding rate for the UUSD perpetual contract will revert to four-hour settlements if the absolute value of the funding rate remains ≤ 0.002% for 36 consecutive hourly periods. The adjustment applies to the Binance Futures UUSD perpetual and will take effect from the 37th hourly settlement.

This change to the funding rate settlement cadence reflects observed funding stability; market participants should monitor funding-rate trajectories and liquidity metrics to recalibrate position financing and risk management practices. Binance reported no additional contract parameter changes in the official notice.
