Political analyst astonished as Trump glitches in front of the cameras

Political analyst David Pakman reacted Thursday to video footage of President Donald Trump freezing during a softball question from reporters, ahead of his Coast Guard Academy commencement address.

Trump appeared confused when discussing the Afghanistan troop withdrawal, incorrectly attributing 13 service member deaths to former President Barack Obama when the withdrawals actually occurred under President Joe Biden in 2023.

Then, when asked if Vice President JD Vance could succeed him, Trump called Vance a "smart guy" and "talented" but refused to commit to supporting his potential ascension.

Pakman characterized Trump's confusion as part of a broader pattern, stating, "He doesn't know what year it is, or he doesn't know what year it was. He can't do it. He just can't do it. He doesn't know what's going on."

Pakman shared his reaction on his YouTube channel, "The David Pakman Show."

The incident adds to ongoing questions about Trump's health, including recent photographs of bruising on his hands and reports of him sleeping during White House meetings.
