JD Vance abruptly cancels rare Colorado appearance

Vice President JD Vance cancelled a scheduled speaking event in Denver Thursday afternoon.

The cancelation was abrupt and Vance provided no explanation, according to Denver's GOP announcement on social media, Axios reported.

"The high-profile visit would have been a rare stop for a top Republican leader in solid-blue Colorado," according to Axios.

Vance planned to speak at All Trucks and Trailer Parts following his appearance at the Air Force Academy graduation in Colorado Springs.

The reason for the sudden schedule change remains unclear. The Daily Beast's D.C. Bureau Chief David Gardner suggested on The Swamp, it may stem from concerns about questions regarding Vance's stance on the Iran war and his previous comments opposing Middle Eastern military conflicts.

Gardner speculated, "Perhaps he’s worried someone might ask him how he really feels."

It remains unknown what remarks Vance will deliver at the Air Force Academy graduation ceremony.
