Dogecoin Price: DOGE Must Hold $0.20 Otherwise It Could Be All Over

With more than $4 million raised in presale and another stage close to selling out, $LBRETT is blending Ethereum’s speed with meme culture to build serious momentum. Traders view it as a fresh contender in the meme coin space, sparking debate on whether DOGE can maintain its crown while newer projects rise rapidly.

Layer Brett emerges as the best crypto presale of 2025

Forget basic meme tokens, Layer Brett brings purpose and power where old favorites left speed and scale behind. Here’s why this project is on every analyst’s hotlist:

  • Ethereum Layer 2 technology enables near-instant transactions at penny-level gas fees, whereas network delays can hinder DOGE.
  • Early backers can stake for coverage-cited APYs over 620%, unlike anything seen on legacy meme tokens.
  • The project is all about fun—plus real rewards. With $1 million in giveaways and a full staking dApp, $LBRETT delivers the best of DeFi, self-custody, and meme culture.
  • Community-first tokenomics: 30% sold in presale, 25% reserved for rewards, full transparency.

Layer Brett’s magic comes from optimizing performance. The platform processes up to 10,000 transactions per second by running an efficient Layer 2 protocol on Ethereum, leaving congestion and $15 gas days far behind.

Buy and stake in one click: connect MetaMask, fund with ETH, USDT, or BNB, then scoop up $LBRETT at presale. Early users can stake immediately, earning APYs that cover over 620% for the first movers. Staking is simple—no KYC required, and you control your own keys.

Gamified incentives, NFT rewards, and ongoing social contests keep the ecosystem thriving and active. When was the last time Dogecoin could promise all that?

Is the Dogecoin price at risk of losing its meme crown?

Dogecoin paved the way for today’s meme and altcoins, demonstrating to the world that community, fun, and pure viral power can drive exponential growth. But times change. The Dogecoin price soared in bull markets, yet under the hood, it still operates on outdated proof-of-work technology, leaving it lagging behind new-generation solutions in terms of speed, costs, and utility.

As of now, the Dogecoin price faces a pivotal test: if it cannot hold $0.20, coverage warns that momentum could “evaporate fast.” With competition from Layer Brett and other trending cryptocurrencies, risk is rising.

Some market watchers see upside if social buzz returns, but the harsh truth looms: DOGE lacks the staking, DeFi, and low-fee mechanics that newer launches offer. Could this be the year that dog-themed tokens lose the throne for good?

Layer Brett could outpace meme giant Dogecoin.

Analysts whisper the Layer Brett presale could be the next big crypto story. With a micro-cap starting at under $50 million, the stage is set for explosive moves when the crypto bull run 2025 gets underway. Coverage cites an over 620% APY at launch for stakers with NFT perks and fast bridges. If adoption continues to snowball, a 100x move doesn’t sound unreasonable.

The DOGE price might be teetering, but Layer Brett is leaping ahead, combining speed, staking, and pure meme strength for early buyers. Don’t wait: the Crypto presale is live, APYs are sky-high, and $1 million in giveaways could land in your wallet.

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…

This information comes from a new joint report on the state of the RWA market published on Sept. 17 by blockchain analytics firm Dune and data platform RWA.xyz. The focus on RWAs is intensifying across the industry, coinciding with events like the ongoing Real-World Asset Summit in New York.
