Former reality TV star Spencer Pratt, now a Republican Los Angeles mayoral candidate challenging incumbent Karen Bass, confirmed he lost $10 million in his 20s following the success of his hit show "The Hills."

On the "No Jumper" podcast, Pratt defended his spending, stating he supported friends, funded rappers and MMA fighters, and bought suits for acquaintances pursuing real estate careers, TMZ reports.

"I was a very good person to be friends with, with that money," Pratt said, adding he would make identical decisions again despite criticism over his spending.

Pratt admitted, if he's unsuccessful on Election Day, he would return to his healing crystal business Pratt Daddy, spend time with family and eat at local restaurants.

Pratt has argued during his campaign that Bass has misused taxpayer funding.
