Spacecoin Announces $100M Vietnam Partnership To Develop Decentralized Satellite Network

Spacecoin, a satellite-based DePIN project focused on decentralized internet connectivity, has signed an exclusive memorandum of understanding with DETI Technology, a Vietnamese technology company, to introduce decentralized satellite telecommunications, Sovereign Routing, blockchain, and Edge AI to the Vietnamese market. The agreement sets a target of at least $100 million in annual revenue once the project reaches commercial operation, with deployment plans centered on Vietnam’s major mobile carriers, Mobifone and Gtel.

Under the terms of the memorandum, DETI will hold exclusive rights to cooperate on, develop, and distribute the technologies in Vietnam for a three-year period beginning once the project receives official operating approval. The arrangement establishes a single local partner for the market and outlines a shared plan to build and commercialize the satellite-based infrastructure.

Integrated Satellite Connectivity and Edge Infrastructure Stack

The partnership combines four core technologies into one integrated system. Decentralized satellite telecommunications are intended to provide connectivity that does not rely on a single operator or traditional ground infrastructure, which could support broader coverage in areas where network access remains uneven. Sovereign Routing is designed to keep data traffic and routing policies under local control, reducing dependence on infrastructure outside the country. Edge AI shifts computing closer to where data is produced, helping reduce latency and lower the bandwidth demands associated with sending information to remote data centers. Blockchain serves as the coordination layer, handling settlement and network management across the system.

Together, the technologies are positioned as a framework for carriers seeking to expand reliable connectivity without rebuilding their networks from scratch. Vietnam has been identified as a strong initial market for the rollout due to its young, mobile-first population and government-backed investment in digital infrastructure. The country’s rapid technology adoption rate is also seen as a favorable environment for decentralized connectivity and Edge AI applications.

The Vietnam deal is part of Spacecoin’s broader expansion strategy into emerging telecom markets, with the company indicating that similar partnerships are being pursued in other regions.
