UFC Freedom 250 ended on June 14 at the White House South Lawn with Justin Gaethje stopping Ilia Topuria’s corner after Round 4. Most of the fight world was shocked. Arman Tsarukyan had $1 million on that exact result at jack.com — and collected $5.7 million before the night was over.

That’s a $4.7 million profit on a single sports wager, settled in crypto.

The bet: $1M on a +470 underdog

Topuria entered as defending lightweight champion with a never-finished record and heavy-favorite odds across every book. Jack.com’s line on Gaethje sat at 5.70x. Tsarukyan posted the screenshot: $1,000,000 stake, 5.70 odds, $5,700,000 payout. It spread immediately across MMA and crypto Twitter.

Gaethje needed four rounds to make it real. He pressured Topuria throughout, absorbed punishment, and did enough late damage that Topuria’s corner pulled their fighter before Round 5. Gaethje won the undisputed lightweight title. The ticket cashed.

Where did Tsarukyan place his $5.7M UFC bet?

The wager went through jack.com — a crypto-native sportsbook and casino that accepts deposits and withdrawals in over 20 cryptocurrencies, with crypto withdrawals processed within minutes after approval. Jack.com (formerly Jackbit) supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, USDC, Tron, BNB, Monero, Dogecoin, and more.

That settlement speed is the material difference at this dollar amount. A seven-figure payout at a traditional regulated sportsbook typically triggers compliance review, bank wire processing, and in some jurisdictions holds that stretch into weeks. On jack.com’s crypto infrastructure, the $5.7M payout moved on-chain the same night the fight ended.

On June 14, 2026, Arman Tsarukyan’s $1M stake at jack.com on Justin Gaethje at UFC Freedom 250 returned $5.7M total. That makes it one of the largest documented single-bet crypto payouts in MMA.

The platform also booked the full $1M at those extended odds without capping the position or shading the line — something most books do as a matter of course on large, long-odds bets.

Was Tsarukyan’s Gaethje bet legal under UFC rules?

The UFC has banned fighters from wagering on its own events since 2022. The policy applies to contracted athletes, not to third parties acting independently.

That’s where it got complicated. Dana White addressed it at the UFC Freedom 250 post-fight press conference, indicating the bet had been placed by a friend rather than Tsarukyan himself. Tsarukyan confirmed publicly that a friend placed the wager, and reportedly split the winnings. He also said he was mid-flight with no internet when Gaethje stopped Topuria — he landed to the news.

He’s reportedly buying Gaethje a truck.

Why this Gaethje upset bet paid what it did

Topuria had never been finished before this fight. The betting market priced that history accurately — 5.70x odds reflect a market that took Gaethje seriously as a threat but didn’t expect him to win. Backing Gaethje at UFC Freedom 250 was a contrarian position at any stake. At $1M, it also required a sportsbook willing to hold that liability on a lightweight title fight at extended prices.

Most regulated, fiat-based books don’t do that. Jack.com has no counterparty bank and no fiat conversion layer between bet and payout. Stake in BTC or ETH, the result resolves, the coins move. No compliance hold, no wire transfer window.

Tsarukyan’s $5.7M at jack.com puts a number on what a crypto sportsbook can handle at the high end: $1M accepted at full odds, paid out the same night, in digital assets.
