Crypto hackers stole more than $755 million across 83 security breaches in Q2 2026 making it the most active quarter on record by number of incidents, according to data from DefiLlama.
Despite the record 83 attacks, losses remained below the $3.56 billion stolen in Q4 2020, the costliest quarter on record.
Cross-chain bridge vulnerabilities were the biggest source of losses during the quarter, accounting for roughly $351 million in stolen funds.
